WTB: 91 318iS Alpine White

Looking for a stock or lightly modded 318iS in Alpine White with Cardinal interior, but open to other interior colors as well.

I'm not sure 318is's ever came with any type of red interior. Your best bet may be to find one with a clean body, solid motor, and busted interior that you can swap out or refurbish.

That interior is from a 325is or possibly a 325es. 318is only came with black vinyl or tan vinyl interiors. If you see leather it came from a 325.


The vinyl sometimes holds up better but it feels very cheap compared to leather that's in good shape.

Alpine on cardinal is the best combo though ;-)

I had one of those once. Mike is right - 318iS never came with cardinal from the factory.

I've only ever seen black vinyl, tan vinyl, gray cloth, tan cloth, and the uberkaro cloth (European option).

Budget is not a main concern as much as the overall condition, maintenance history, originality including paint, clean carfax, etc.

Mine has the indigo cloth interior (0271) as well. Unfortunately it hasn't stood the test of time very well, I almost swapped it for a cardinal sport interior but then I hit a deer...
