Totaled: Back in April 2016, I was rear ended while stopped at a stoplight on the Green st. bridge in Spokane. My insurance company considered it a total loss due to the rear frame damage. The rear bumper, undercarriage, and rear riverside quarter panel has been damaged. The trunk and rear passenger door is misaligned. Despite all of the body damage, the car still runs great. I have driven on 8+ hour road trips without any issues at all. Title in hand!
NEED TO SELL BEFORE JULY 30! I will be moving to NYC where I will not have room for/won't need a car.
Pros:
- Reliable, runs great and has been my DD for about 4 years
- Clean interior
- Fairly low milage
- Heat/Heated seats work great
- AWD works great
- Euro headlights + grills
- <1,000mi on Kumho Ecsta tires
- 15" iX basketweaves, no caps
- Oil changes complied with every 3 months
- Professionally replaced transfer case (currently has about 107k mi) by Silver Star Auto
- Timing belt, tensioner, water pump, and radiator professionally replaced at 143k by Silver Star Auto
-Alternator replaced + alternator cables upgraded to thicker diameter at 145k
-Headliner in decent shape
-Manual sunroof operates correctly
-Blower fan replaced with brand new one
-New front BMW emblem
Cons:
- Totaled but title in hand
- Rear end + undercarriage damage
- Rear passenger door + trunk misalignment from accident
- Driver side fender not VIN matching. Damaged by PO. It was replaced with BMW OEM Lachssilber iX specific fender + fender flares.
- Body rust (damage in the rear, small nicks throughout the car, and battery tray)
- Engine has very slight oil leak
- Needs new suspension (shocks, springs, struts, control arms, etc.)
- Drivers side CV boot is torn
- Knee panel sags. Missing some securing hardware
- Gas gauge inaccurate/erratic. Empty light still comes on when empty.
- Cracked windshield
- Driver side taillight damaged. Signal light inoperable but brake + reverse lights still work.
- Dash has one crack
- No radio head unit or OBC. Radio and OBC screen were inoperable.
- Antenna damaged then removed due to accident.
- Trunk tools rusted
- Central locking works most of the time but I have minor had issues with it in the past.
- Rear windows inoperable... sometimes. It might be the switches going bad or dirty.
- Cracked rear ash tray
- Slight leak behind driver seat. After heavy rain the carpet is damp.
- Sunroof crank handle does not lock in place
- Engine bay is dusty/dirty
