Check out THIS thread on bf.c .

In the pic further up in that thread you can see my red 89' and black 88' 325is' that are almost ready to be for sale .
The red 89' will have new paintjob and a 4.10 LSD so I'll be asking around $4k for it .

The black 88' with updated bumpers will have many tastefull and subtle mods and will be a bit higher .
Also with fresh paint though .

In the same pic the red car on the left is a friends 87' "is" and I believe he wis asking around $2.5 k for it .
It has fresh paint too .

+1 for how much do you want to spend and where in Tx are you located .

4k is probably gonna be around the limit, but it obviously depends on the car.

What do those 88/89's lack besides paint?

        I'm in Waco.

Just got my friends red 87' sold last night .

I figurd by your comment that you were going to pass on the Arlington car anyway .

I still have my nice 89' available .
And yes all that one needs is paint and it will be set .
Its running a 4.10 LSD and is super quick ...really strong M20 in that one .

My black 88' still needs to have a few things finished up and then I'll get it into paint last .
It will be an extremely nice desireable car when finished .

              Have another friend with a 90-91 2-door 325i that is asking around $3k .
Its alpine but has a auto currently .

Heh, yeah..they seemed kinda shady; didn't answer their phone, etc.

Why does the red one need paint? Had it been wrecked? Is it a true 'is'? Manual? Ill get it painted myself if we can keep the price down lol....
I dig alpine but can't do another auto..especially an 'i'.

I'm ready to do somethin really soon so let me know.

My red car has a dent on the hood and on the RF fender .
Last kid that owned it rear ended somebody at school the 2nd day he drove it .

Paint is still nice and deep ..could be buffed out real nice .
I was going to replace the hood and fix the fender and then respray in a eurethane base/clear .
Somebody would get a good deal since the pain would usually run about $2k-$2.5k .

Yes of course its a real "is" , if it was fake or whatever i would say so .
It is a manual now but was a automatic until recently ...thats why it has the 4.10 LSD .

I guess I could not paint it and put a regular 3.73 in it and then I would take just over $3k for it .
Theres a guy wanting to check it out tonight ...but he wants me to take his newly purchased 89' 325i 2-door as a trade .
Don't know if that will happen though .

I will have lots of new pics of it after Thursday night ....we are having a meet and I'll bring it out then .

Here are a couple of pics of how it sat a few weeks ago :

You can see the ding on the front of the right fender here :

This shows the hood ding pretty good :

well i thought you had called your 88 an "is" before and used the quotes like it wasnt....i dunno..

hmm i thought i was onto somethin. but that interior and the fact that he rear ended someone is a little dissappointing.

lots of pics would be great. ill be carless within the next week hopefully.
need a better way of getting ahold of you since you dont really post that often...

Yeah I put the is or s in quotes most of the time so it does not get lost in the text .

Hell every one of my E30's is an "is" with the exception of my eta .

The interior is definitely the worst part on the car .
I've been letting people know that the interior has "higher than average" wear .
Looks like some ass tried to clean the carpet with bleach or something .

It will look a whole lot better when I officially put it up for sale though .
Might swap out or at the very least dye the carpeting .
Front seats have decent wear on them for their age .
Knee bolster is in the trunk .

I would not really be concerned with the little fender bender damage .
It is just a neew hood and a good used zinno fender away from being perfect again .
But then again thats the whole reason why I was going to paint the thing overall .

I'll pm you my contact numbers .

Yeah, I gotcha. The fact that It's a swap car is not that thrilling to me either. Think you'll have any other cars come through anytime soon?
                              Thanks man.
