1998 M3 Sedan Alpine III/Dove Grey Leather, 5 speed manual, 91,200 miles. All Original Paint and Body Panels with matching VIN Tags. Factory Options Include: Power Seats, Cruise, 18-Button Computer, Harmon Kardon, CD Changer, Keyless Entry, Power Sunroof. May 1998 production date (final month of m3 sedan production), includes rear headrests, non-folding rear seats and side airbags. This car is stock except for preventative maintenance upgrades (see below), has been adult owned, maintained and driven. No smoking, track or autocross. Clean title, no accidents, no leaks. Car was first registered in Tennessee and then Texas, before being bought by EAG (www.enthusiastauto.com) in 2007 with 48K miles. Former president of BMWCCA National Chapter purchased the car from EAG in 2007 and car was shipped to VA. Car has been in VA and MD since.
Condition: Exterior paint looks great with no rust or fading , a couple of dings and few rock chips in places as typical for its age, all body panels are straight with matching VIN numbers and all original paint. Front hood has minor crease that was touched up by previous owner. The original 17? BMW Motorsport DSII wheels (including spare) are clean and straight with very few imperfections or curb rash.
Interior is well-preserved with clean leather seats and carpets, new OEM floor mats. Grey leather sport seats are in very good condition, with only minor wear on driver side bolsters and ?? slit in seat bottom, passenger seat and back seats are in excellent condition, headliner is clean, minor sagging in rear, glove box, AC/heat, fan, stereo, sunroof, windows, locks, operate as normal. The engine bay and trunk are clean with no material defects.
Maintenance: The majority of service was performed at London Auto Services in Falls Church VA, Funktion Auto Group in Sterling VA and Sigy?s Service Center in Rockville MD. Service and upgrade highlights include: Zionsville aluminum radiator, Stewart water pump with aluminum thermostat housing, Zimmerman Euro floating rotors, OEM BMW (ZKW) Euro Ellipsoid headlight with glass lenses, BMW X-Brace Reinforcement, Stoptech Stainless Steel braided brake lines, K&N High Flow Air Filter, OMP aluminum pedal set, Motion Motorsport Aluminum Undertray, e46 M3 rear shock mounts with Z3 plates, UUC clutch stop, pedal bushings and transmission mounts, newer BMW OEM windshield, Control arm bushings, trailing arm bushings, tie rods, sway bar links, flex disc and shifter seal, shifter bushing rebuild, idle control valve, ignition cylinder, drive belts, clutch slave cylinder, spark plugs, new plastic gears for both front seats, replaced muffler hangers, power steering hoses, heater fan motor, BSW mid-range speaker upgrade, new OEM front lip spoiler, Redline fluids in transmission and differential, Motul in engine.
