    88 325is 5-speed, rust free, low miles

Life is a bitch folks. Listed this morning and TOTALED this afternoon. An 18 year old girl made a blind left out of a starbucks across two lanes, I hit her at 35 right in the driver's door. We're both fine and both cars are totaled. Keep an eye out for my part-out thread if my insurance plays ball. We lost a good e30 soldier here today, all too soon at 26 years of age.

    RIP

Original Post for future pricing data:

Time to let my project go..

For Sale: 1988 BMW 325is, 150,000 miles, 5-speed manual, resprayed Bronzit on black leather, 100% original and rust free. This is a true "is", LSD rear, sport seats, and sport suspension. I bought it because it has zero rust, the sun roof panel has a bubble but the body and underside are totally clean. Originally a southern car from what I know. It runs and drives great, engine has plenty of power and it handles tight. Transmission is quiet and shifts smoothly through all gears. Runs great on the highway with no shakes or pulling. Brakes and tires are good all around. All electronics work, aftermarket headunit with the original premium stereo sounds good. The car is registered as a PA Antique and costs nothing to run and insure. Clean PA title in hand.

    Pros:
    100% Original and RUST FREE.
"is" trim all around, it's the most loaded E30 I have found.
New fuel pump and sender assembly.
No leaks, bottom of the oil pan is bone dry.
Burns no oil, uses no coolant, fires right up and runs great all day.
Relatively low miles on a working odometer.
All body panels and glass are original.
    Pop-out rear windows.
Turn-key project, drive it home and build your ultimate e30 or restore it to factory fresh, it's a perfect platform to go either way.

    VIN# WBAAA130XJ8253202

    Cons:
Timing belt was done by the previous owner at 111k miles around 5 years ago, not great but not in the danger zone.
Paint is a crappy Maaco single stage job, it's a "10 footer".
PO hit a mailbox and scratched the paint off the hood and passenger A-Pillar, needs a respray but there is no bare metal.
Needs a passenger side trim aluminum strip above the door. Broke it while removing for A-pillar respray.
Clutch age is unknown, works fine and grabs hard.
Slight drive line noise at low speeds, probably a center support bearing, all u-joints feel tight.
Check Panel works but throws the usual false alarms for tail lights and washer fluid on occasion, nothing stays on permanently.
OBC functions but the panel is dim.
Radio antenna stays up, somehow it has not been broken off and looks original.
Driver's seat is about a 6/10 condition, fully functional mechanically.
Occasional lumpy idle, I've always thought it was spark plugs (they're old and carbon caked) but never got around to doing a tune up.

My only reason for selling is because a new project fell into my lap. The last picture is all you need to know. I have a daily driver and don't need this car anymore. I hate to let it sit and only drive it a few times a month. I'm not in a hurry to sell and I know this is a desirable car even among E30's. Come take a look and make me an offer. -Marshall 215 264 4343

Are you by any chance parting it out?

Not going to be able to part this car out, just doesn't make sense for me compared to taking my check and washing my hands of the whole situation. Sorry guys, I wish I could but I live in an apartment and have no way of keeping the car around in the state it's in.

Every E30 we lose at this point is a tragedy, even a Bronzit.
