What's up r3v, it's back up and for real this time! To keep it short and to the point, this is the smoothest, softest, quietest and most reliable E30 I've ever had the pleasure of owning, however, I'm just ready for something new!
The story -
I bought the car about 8 months ago from the original owner with both front and rear original CA vanity plates that read "SUN 87" and am selling only because I wanna try something new. It has been on daily duty for the last 2 months, since the 1er went into a wall at Sonoma, and I have had zero issues with it at all. The car, as I was told, is 100% stock and original from the motor to the exhaust, to the paint, interior and everything in between. The front seats could definitely use some love, especially the drivers as it is beat but the crack free dash, perfect door cards and rear seat pull me back into why I love Cardinal so much. The car is Alpine 1, has the original tool kit, BOTH trunk storage compartments, (yes, still has left AND right storage compartments), and the original BBS wheel cap wrench. The factory Centurion alarm is still in perfect working condition, as is central locking, power windows, pop-outs and sunroof. The car has WORKING A/C and the heater is also I'm great working condition. The auto transmission shifts super smooth and the M20 is still very willing to be pushed at will. There are no lights out anywhere on the car, inside or out, power mirrors work as well. The VIN number for those interested is WBAAA2300H3112412
The cons would be pretty standard E30 quirks such as a broken odo which says 213,972. The odo actually went out on the drive home from the PO's house, about 17 miles outside of my house when I noticed it, so it is still pretty close to the actual mileage. Also, the radio is not working, PO said that the battery died and the radio said "CODE" so they just disabled it. I have not checked to see if this is true because the M20 makes me smile with all its happy little noises and grunts.
$4000 firm or trade for a clean title, manual, '94-'97 Miata, M edition preferably! I have a clean CA title in my hand. I need this car to go to an enthusiast, so hit me with your questions, comments, concerns or the like and I'll be more than happy to oblige, thanks r3v!
