    1987 BMW E30 325is coupe M52 swap -- Allentown PA/Tri-State area

After years of putting it off and pretending I didn't need to sell it, my E30 is for sale :-( I will miss it dearly and hope to own another E30 in the future, but for now it must go.

    - 1987 325is Coupe with M52 swap
    - M52 is from a 1998 328i, ~100k miles
    - ~200k on the chassis
    - Lots of maintenance in the past 5 years to make sure everything is mechanically sound -- belts, water pump, etc
    - It has been garaged for the past 4 years, only turned on every week or two to keep it from going stale
    - OBD 1 intake manifold
    - K & N air filter
    - New clutch
    - Short shifter
    - 5 speed (E36 Transmission)
    - Factory stainless steel headers
    - Front bilstein sports shocks
    - Rear bilstein sports shocks
    - Rear poleurethane upper shocks bushing
    - Lowered Bavarian springs
    - 3.25 Posi Differentail
    - New starter

The only cons are cosmetic, otherwise this car runs perfectly and hasn't had any issues. It's an absolute blast to drive:

    - Two cracks in the dash
    - Crack in the front body element
    - Heat works, AC does not (lines were never finished)
    - Clear coat is wearing away on the hood/roof/trunk
    - Trunk leaks slightly in very heavy rain, it just needs new seals
    - Driver?s door needs to be re-keyed (car gets locked/unlocked from the trunk mechanism)
    - Gas gauge doesn't go below ? tank
    - Interior is worn, but damn good for a car that's almost 30 years old

Get in touch! Price is OBO, no trades.

    List Date: 8/9/2016

Some interest but nothing serious yet -- dropping another $500!

Do you by chance know if this car is from Florida? This looks just like my old 87 325is I had in high school. I sold it to an older gentleman here in Ocala and he did this exact same swap. The car was automatic originally...
