1985 BMW E30 318i Project with S52 Swap
Letting go of this nearly-complete project with many hours of work and lots of money invested, due to needing funds for school.
Currently runs and drives, but only temporarily (enough to get on a trailer or car dolly).
Originally an Arizona car (No rust!), with the S52 installed last year.
Parts installed in the car and functional:
S52 engine (240 horsepower) + ZF manual transmission
Corbeau FX1 racing seats + G-Force 6 point harnesses
Half Cage
E46 ZHP steering rack
Massive Lee front brakes w/ new rotors and pads
Stainless steel front brake lines + clutch line
Odometer and tach in working condition
Porsche 944 brake booster
Racing Dynamics (green) springs + Bilstein Sports shocks on all 4 corners
Silicone radiator hoses + intake
TSW Hockenheim rims w/ Michelin Pilot Sports
Front strut bar
E30 M3 cable holder
Active Autowerke performance chip
Extra parts included in sale:
New suspension bushings
Weld-on reinforcements
IE 25mm rear/22mm front sway bars
Rear SS brake lines
Oil pan gasket + oil nut safety wire
Other miscellaneous parts (too much to list)
Things that need work:
Engine needs work to run reliably. Only runs until it reaches operating temp and when MAF is unplugged.
Exhaust needs to be redone.
Oil leak from oil pan gasket (Includes new oil pan gasket)
Paint is cracked due to exposure to Arizona sun
Gas pedal clip on body needs to be repaired (Includes original gas pedal)
