    FS: 91' 318is $2500.00

This car is for sale. It needs a profile gasket and new rear brakes. I also do not have a title but I own it and can provide title records and a Bill of Sale. Thats the bad. The good is this picture was taken on the 18th of August, 2006. This what it actually looks like. This not an old pic and the car is sitting in high weeds somewhere! This car is very drivable, I do it everyday. It has 160,000 miles on it, and is very dependable. It has the M42 engine. If you are interested and would like some more pics, e-mail me at Highqman69@hotmail.com.

How long will it take you to get the title?

Title will be the buyers responibility. I will provide the title from the previous owner that I have and all the applications from dealers for a new title. Basically this car was traded from lot to lot by dealers in the hopes of making alittle more money by each and they never actually secured a title because they never sold the car. I bought it as a parts car that just so happens to run and drive great. I decided I was going to use this car instead of mine because of the condition of the drivetrain. I put a coat of paint on it(Blue Water Metallic) and a new interior. But now Ive decided I need a bigger car and need to sell this. FYI: DMV in NC says that its only about a weeks worth of processing and paperwork and I would have a title, but honestly I just dont have the drive to do it nor do I feel like spending any more time on it. This was my project and if you want to see more pics I will be glad to email them. Just let me know where to send them. Whoever wants a great car with a little effort here it is!

Also note: Car will be sold with the factory baskets on it. The wheels you see on it will be left in place for an additional $400. The tires and rims are 1 month old.If you buy the tires I will give the baskets also. There is also a stereo system installed that can be nogotiated for consisting of: a Pioneer 780 headunit, alpine 4 channel amp, MB Quart separetes in the front and a Boston Pro 12 in the trunk. Contact me at: Highqman69@hotmail.com for a combo price, and I am up for offers too. Just be serious about it. Thanks

Thanks, but I'm not interested in getting caught in title limbo.

Get a clear title (in your name) and I'll consider it.

You might want to find the drive to get it titled. Grey title cars are too much of a gamble to ask reg. KBB price for and are usually more of hassle to title than they are worth 9 times out of 10.

I think its pretty cool when people dont respect or fully read the listing, ask questions on the forum instead of by email like they were asked to or just generally like to make stupid comments and waste web space that could be used for other things. I tried to make the listing as quick as possible and if you really wanted to know more, USE EMAIL. Transactions are between the buyer and the seller! You want to talk upgrades, mods, whatever then go for it but I put in all the person needed to know to decide if they were interested enough to go further with the conversation. Guess its back to wrenchin!

I think it makes sense that they are concerned about the title and they express this concern publicly. I mean, it's a universal concern; no one wants to mess around with an ambiguous, if not nonexistent, title.

How do you legally drive it every day if it's not even titled? Besides, most DMVs don't even allow you to register the car if it isn't titled. Is the car even registered?

I'm not trying to pick on you or ruin on your car or sale, but for $2,500, the car better either have a title or you should provide assurance to the buyer that they can easily obtain a title (with substantiated and clear suggestions as to how to go about doing this).

Good luck with your sale nonetheless!

Your right, I apoligize. I guess I read alot of BS on these forms and people giving each other a hard time. The comment wasent aimed at the title question nessecarily, more at the wheel comment. I just dont think the for sale column is for smart@$$ comments. This car is not driven legally, I simply drive it to work back and forth with my old jeep plate in place. I know, not good! Since I guess this should be considered a For Parts Only sale then. So heres the deal, new price. I wanna get rid of it so, hoew about $1600 with wheels. I know, big jump, but I want it gone. Again, if you want to title it, its your responsibility.
