WTB: Relatively clean, stock, daily-driveable E30 Sedan or Coupe with M20 Engine - located in Central NJ

Just sold my E36 318i and need a new car to use as a daily. Looking to get an E30 sedan or coupe with an M20 engine. Can be manual or auto. Should have working heat, AC, PS, windows and need no major mechanical work to run and drive nice (don't have a garage and don't want to dump money into a car I just bought to make it daily-driver worthy). I'm fine with small cosmetic stuff like broken odometers, dash cracks, a little bit of rust, a small dents. Can spend up to $4000. Sport package is preferred, but not a necessity. Maintenance history heavily preferred. Biggest concern is when the timing belt was last changed. If that belt goes, the car needs a new motor (not cheap for someone who doesn't have a garage). Want the best-condition, stock car I can get at this price.

Located in Central NJ and would like the car to be located within the state. Not looking to drive outside NJ for the car. If you're out of state and can drive it over to me that would be great. I am free to check out cars around Christmas time.

I've seen stock E30s in the condition I specified sell for around this price (and much lower from owners who know about these) in my area this year so I don't feel that what I'm asking for is too unreasonable. I'm also willing to accept the less desirable models (325e, automatics). What would you say is a more reasonable expectation in terms of condition for a $2500 E30?

For $2500 you can probably get like a 85-87 expect rust and no maintenance record, just do a little search on what have sold in the past year here on R3vlimited, I've seen 240K miles car fetch 8k on BAT

No affiliation, and not exactly in Jersey, but it does stay in your price range...
