FS: 91' 318is m50

My friend is selling his m50 swapped 318is . He has kind of run out of funds to finish the exhaust work other than that it is driving on the street. So here is the deal the chassis has 120k miles and the m50 engine has 60k miles on it from an auto 325i. The swap was done with a tree house racing adapter so no need to worry about the wiring. As far as the exhaust goes he has a stock m50 mid/center section that has been cut right before the cats, so it is pretty loud. Has about $7k in it and cant afford to even look at it at this point. BTW the paint is much like Cosmos Schwartz from E36 M3s

All m50 conversion tasks have been taken care of( booster ,mounts, etc.) and ready to be a daily driver after exhaust/ muffler work is done

If he sold some boom boom he could finish it... If you are that far into a project I don't see why you'd sell it, my opinion.

At this point he wants an e36 and to keep it stock , he likes the car , but he would like A/C and heated seats than drivng with a slightly nose heavy non A/Ced E30.

The swap alone could cost that much : (engine, labor ,dme ,oil pan, coding plug etc... etc...)

Serioulsy exhaust work would be $100 or less seeing he has a stainless muffler for it already that just needs to be welded in.

$5000 is a good deal considering the M50 swap and the minimal amount of work needed to done to make this a nice daily driver.

Swap is completely done and drives its a nice looking car , just need a new layer of paint on the hood and paint for the new bumper to paint match it.

Not to be an asshole, but to spend $5k on the m50 swap sounds a little high to me, considering you can sell the stock motor and tranny for some cash, etc. I am doing an m30 swap, and I sold my old motor for the same price I paid for the m30, same with the tranmission, so the only big money so far is just maintence such as clutch, seals, gaskets, etc. All told, well under $1000.
I know m50s go for more, but $5k seems a bit on high side. Labor wise, maybe not lol, but part wise it sounds high.

The car is not being parted out this car is a daily driver . Also this car has no sunroof so will be good for the track hence less body roll.
