FS: Socal 87 Zinno Vert w/ euro bumpers

So, I bought this car a little bit by accident. Those of you on this forum know how that goes. My 2002 had been in the shop so long, and this car was parked in my neighborhood with a FS sign. I didn't want a convertible. I didn't want a red convertible. And then I drove it and it was just too much fun. But now my 2002 is back and I don't have the room or the money to keep both.

I've spent stupid money on this thing since I bought it. It's a California car. No rust. Previous owner had done a nice job keeping it running strong. It was just really ugly. Oh, and it has 214k on the clock. Runs great and passes smog no problem.

Previous owner did the following in the last two years:

FS: Socal 87 Zinno Vert w/ euro bumpers

Previous owner did the following in the last two years:

    New timing belt

    New water pump

Newly machined head – (he purchased with blown head gasket)

    New intake manifold gasket

New throttle body gasket and intake boot

New crank case vent tube hose

New coolant temp sensor (VDO gauge in place of ashtray)

Oil pressure sensor and oil pressure gauge

    Coil-overs with new shocks, struts

    factory front strut mounts

Rear shock mounts (lifetime warranty) ride height is adjustable

    New control arms

    New control arm bushings

New adjustable front sway bar links

New factory rear sway bar links

    New shift bushings

    New LED light for OBC

    Convertible release handle rebuilt

    New fuel pump

    New fuel pressure regulator

Factory aux fan removed and replaced with electric

    New OEM muffler

    Then I kept going with:

    Complete repaint in Zinnoberrot
    Euro Bumper conversion
    All new window rubber
    Garagistic strut bar
    New rubber on Tonneau cover
Leather front and rear seats (like new)
    Replaced Moulding trim
    Condor drilled door handles
    replaced glove box
New shocks in hood and tonneau cover
    replaced tail lights (no cracks)
replaced 3rd brake light (no cracks)
    new license plate lights
    New Windshield rubber

And a million little plastic bits and odds and ends.

Here's what I think remains to be done that I will do if I keep the car:

New convertible top (I have but not installed)
Rebuild gauge cluster - there's a short in the tach
Run power for heated front seats
Rebuild doors (windows work but slowly)

And of course it's an old car so new stuff comes up here and there. I'm still cleaning the red paint residue off of everything from the previous (terrible) paint job.

I'm not desperate. I love the car. Would like to get $8500 (which is NOT breaking even for me) but that's on the 16x8 EMS wheels I bought it with (gold centers seen in the pic with the old bumpers) -- plus a set of 5 bottlecaps. The wheels in pictures are custom BBS from Paul Ehrlich at e-wheel works and set me back a pretty penny -- but they are for my 2002. Sorry.

    PRICE $8500
