I have a 1991 318is that has been in the family since brand new. Extremely well taken care of, impeccable interior, routine maintenance and quite a few upgraded parts as each wore out.
I was planning on keeping this car another 10-12 years at minimum, and yet, 10th of Oct., a big rig decided to change lanes on the freeway and destroyed the left side of the car -- front and rear fender and driver's door. The windshield cracked and body shop says damage went ever-so-slightly into the roof and undercarriage.
I have the option to buy the car back from insurance and have it as a salvage title. It's just WAY too amazing a car to let it go get parted out, or crushed. Unfortunately, I have fatigue issues and don't have the energy to fix this amazing car and get it back on the road, nor am I a skilled mechanic with all the right tools. So I'm offering it here for an avid e30 lover to have the opportunity at an AMAZING, well kept, super strong driving car.
You will want to either repair damage, or move all interior and mechanicals from my car to another chassis -- the latter would build a PERFECT e30!
