Putting my 1985 Euro BMW 316 up for sale. The last carbureted BMW powered by a rock solid M10 this car is in a great place for a mechanic to get in on a rare in the US BMW. I guarantee it will be a long time before you see another one of these on the street or at a show. There's a reason why the E30 is called God's Chariot.
The Good:
Actual European grey market import.
Over the past year I've cleared up a number of leaks in the trunk and doors.
Nearly brand new H&R sport springs and Bilstein B4 struts.
New front brake rotors.
The engine runs and pulls strong.
Automatic transmission shifts beautifully.
The Bad:
Rust has invaded the cabin. I pulled out the carpet to prep for a new carpet and identify what I thought was a small leak in the cabin. Turns out she needs new floors and some work to the foot well as well. It shouldn't be a difficult job for someone with welding experience and a welder, but it's far enough out of my skill set to consider selling.
Full disclosure - She was also involved in an earlier accident to the front passenger side but all of that was repaired nicely and is in perfect shape.
Best offer over 3k takes her. Willing to entertain trades.
