    WTB: First e30! 325 i / is coupe or sedan : Arizona

    Looking for a
    • manual
    • 325, 325i or is
    • coupe or sedan
    • my budget would be $6,000 to $11,000

I live in Arizona, and would be willing to fly to pick up a worthwhile car!
    ~~

After some contemplation, I've decided to buy an e30 as my foray into my appreciation/mechanical knowledge of cars. I grew up around my dad restoring cars, but I always would stick to tinkering on my motorbikes.

It seems that an e30 would be a spectacular place to start my growing appreciation.

I'm very excited to find such a community, and look forward to contributing what little I can offer, and learning from you all!

Please let me know if you have any direction for me in this pursuit!
    Thanks,

    PafuPafu

Think perhaps either the 'm' or the '3' in the title is a typo, unless of course you mean to buy an e30 with an m30 in it :D

I will send you a PM when I get home.. Have an Alpine White/Black Leather 1991 325i with 109k original miles that I may have to start trying to sell..

I have a manual 89 325i sedan in Utah that I've owned for 13 years. My son's dd that is coming available for sale soon. Slightly modified. Could use a paint job. Minimal rust on rear valance. Pm me if interested!
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

            91 325iX coupe 5spd

I have a 91 325iX coupe, 5 spd that I might part with. It is one of 237 manual coupes sold in the US that year. It is Lazurblau blue, one of only 20 sold in that color (the only year any blue was offered on an iX). Silber leather interior (1 of 3).

Myself and the previous owner have been restoring the car for the past 2 years. It was too unique not too restore. The car is in great shape with 163k miles on original drivetrain. Bone stock. Repainted in 2017. Over $11k in parts and service receipts (not including paint). All wheel drive works flawlessly. Sport seat, 15" basketweaves (refinished with new tires - spare included) nicely optioned car. Needs a new interior and a few minor details. $11k obo. Message me for photos and extensive service details. Car located in Phoenix AZ.

                black on black sedan

I've got a '89 Schwartz 325i sedan, 130k miles, black on black, completely rust-free southern CA car, located in San Francisco:
-newer m20 (apprx 60k on it)
-fully rebuilt front suspension by great shop (w/ M3 offset controll arm bushings)
                -Z3 shifter
-new bilstein B6s and H&R Sports all around
-brand new timing belt and cam seal
-Freshly resealed transmission and new gear oil
-New front brake rotors and pads
                -New oil pan
                -New motor mounts
                -Some more stuff
-The bad: The hood has hard water spots that need to be buffed, there is a ding on the passenger fender that can be fixed, the drivers seat has one splitting seam, the muffler could use replacing if you don't like a lot of noise (I kept it as-is bc I think it sounds great, just a taste thing), it needs a new ABS sensor on one wheel, and one injector needs replacing (I'm diagnosing that now).

I'm considering selling it because I just moved to San Francisco and garage space is tight. Happy to talk more details. PM me if interested and I'll send pics
