Hello there my fellow E30 enthusiast brethren. I'm here doing something I hoped I would never do, I'm selling my beloved Zinno Convertible.
It's almost topless driving season here in the Northeast, and nothing compares to either driving during the day with the sun shining on your face and the wind blowing through your hair, or driving on a warm night under the moon and stars, playing the perfect song while holding your sweethearts hand. And if you don't have a sweetheart, you're going to love all the looks you get everytime you take this baby out for a spin.
I've put a small fortune into this car, and it was worth every penny. K and B Autoworks in Stamford, CT has done all the work, and if you're a Bimmer enthusiast in CT, you know who they are, and what they do! This is just an example of what K does!
She drives silky smooth with a mint M20B25 engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. She also has an extremely rare Husco armrest with cupholders. I think that was a dealer option when new, I've been around E30's most of my life, and have only seen a handful of them! The interior is also mint, I'm assuming the previous owner restored it, considering it's a convertible and the sun isn't kind to the leather over the years, but this looks brand new. And it's almost a miracle that a convertible of this age has a completely crack free dash! She still polishes up nice and shiny even though it's 31 year old paint, she's a beauty for sure.
I put a $1300 sound system in. An Alpine head unit with Bluetooth connectivity for telephoning, and wireless media. The best part of the head unit is that the display colors are changeable, and it's currently set to match the rest of the colored dash lights. Focal component speakers, an Alpine amplifier, the only thing missing is a subwoofer, which can be installed immediately, as the connection and power for it are already in place. I just didn't want one myself. She's also hardwired for an Escort Passport 9500ix, which can be included in the sale if negotiated for. There have been too many repairs and part replacements to list. She has approximately 165K miles on her, and is good for countless more!
She's located in CT right near the NY border. And I'm asking $6500, but all reasonable offers will be considered.
