1990 325i m30 swapped. Is a 1990 not 89.
Let me start by saying, the car is super reliable and fun to drive. Unfortunately my priorities have changed and with my other “projects” i barely have time for her, so it’s time to let her go for someone else to enjoy it.
Swap came of a e34 535i, Head was rebuild about 2 yrs ago, and every single gasket replaced while the engine was out.
This engine took me to Daytona turkey run/spectober fest in Sebring, Tampa, among other places and never ever gave me a single issue. I only used rotela synthetic oil in it.
Car has no power steering or a/c. All the lines and components are there except for compressor.
I unhooked the convertible top motors cause they never worked and I wasn’t spending a fortune to replace them, takes literally 1 minute to put top up or down.
Work to be done:
Would need front right shock/ bilstein sport took a shit
Car had a horrible sound system/wirring so I pulled everything off
Rear axle boots are not working.
As usual the odometer doesn’t work. I would say about 150k on the body and not sure on the engine mileage since the rebuild, bottom end wasn’t touched.
Top has a small rip by the plastic window.
Seats mechanism not functional but upholstery it’s almost perfect.
Some goodies:
Crack free dash, impeccable condition.
Super clean body, few scratches not noticeable unless you know its there.
4.10 lsd with freshly changed synthetic oil.
New master cylinder and brake booster were replaced at the same time
Flushed and replaced brake fluid.
Electric fan
NO RUST whatsoever.
H&R sport front shocks, also have matching rear ones but wouldn't fit with raceland coilovers.
New rear shocks, shock mounts with racelands Coilovers.
Upgraded front valance from an 87 325es.
Upgraded Projector headlights, the oem plain ones were ugly.
Control arms, stabilizer end links, inner, outer tie rods replaced, front shock mounts as well.
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things....
Keep in mind this is a 95% finished project.
Im asking $6000 wich is very reasonable considering the conditions of the vehicle.. and Im sure you seen fuckd up e30 for about the same price lol.
I will deliver this car personally anywhere in the u.s, YES!!! I will DRIVE this car to your house!! (For xtra $$ and a flight back to ft lauderdale)
