[VA] FS: S52 swapped '87 Coupe. SLR Ultra Kit, GC Coilovers, etc

    Year: 1987
    Model: 325
Chassis mileage: at least 118k. Odometer isn't functional and I'm not sure how long it's been that way.
    Location: Sterling, VA

Price: SOLD! Pricing left below for reference only.

$6000 with no Sparco Evo driver's seat + slider + seat mount. Bring your own seat.
$4000 with no Sparco Evo driver's seat + slider + seat mount, and 3 clutch 3.73 LSD instead of the 3.25.
$3800 with no 15" XXR 513 drift wheels, and a pair of 14" stock bottle caps on the rear instead. No Sparco Evo driver's seat + slider + seat mount, and 3.73 LSD.
$3300 with no diff at all, no Sparco Evo driver's seat + slider + seat mount, no 15" XXR 513 drift wheels, and a pair of 14" stock bottle caps on the rear instead.
$2900 with no hydro hand brake parts, no diff at all, no Sparco Evo driver's seat + slider + seat mount, no 15" XXR 513 drift wheels, and a pair of 14" stock bottle caps on the rear instead.
$2000 without the GC coilovers, SLR angle kit, no hydro hand brake parts, no diff at all, no Sparco Evo driver's seat + slider + seat mount, no 15" XXR 513 drift wheels, and a pair of 14" stock bottle caps on the rear instead. I'd need a non-refundable deposit and a couple of weeks to put the car in this condition.

Cash only, no shipping. **No trades**

Despite how it looks, it drifts well and the driveline has been reliable. The blower motor works perfectly, and the dash only has minor cracks barely visible in the photos. Hand crank sunroof also works perfectly. Black door cards are not installed, but are included. Harness wiring is exposed for photos, but is usually covered by the E30 M3 harness routing plastics. Car does not come with pictured Mtech 1 steering wheel, but the stock 4 spoke.

Test drives are only with cash in hand, and in my neighborhood only as it is not tagged. Front coilovers are at maximum height, while the rears could be dropped so the chassis sits on the ground if you so choose. Getting it on a trailer can be an issue if your trailer is narrow since the car has effectively 6" wider front track than stock.

    Driveline modifications:
    - S52 swapped - '98 bottom end, M50 Non-VANOS ported and polished head with VANOS installed, S52 stock cams, OBD1 intake manifold, RK Tuned 413 DME, OBD1 valve cover. Assembled by protomor/Yoshi. Under 1900 miles since it was rebuilt.
    - OBD2 stock BMW exhaust manifolds to 2.5" custom fabricated 304 stainless steel exhaust by Living Dreams Auto Salon with a Magnaflow 49 state 2.5" catalytic converter, 2.5" Borla Pro-XS muffler 2.5", and Magnaflow 2.5" muffler
    - ZF310 transmission
    - Stock eta drive shaft
    - JB Racing lightweight flywheel + Spec Stage 4 clutch
    - Techna-fit stainless steel clutch line
    - AKG Race Shifter
    - UUC Double Shear Selector Rod
    - FFD 3600CFM electric pusher fan
    - Dakota Digital fan controller
    - 80C thermostat
    - VDO coolant temp gauge with sender
    - AKG M/S5x engine swap mounts
    - E21 transmission bushings
    - AKG 12mm subframe riser bushings with solid aluminum diff bushing
    - Thayer Motorsports built 3.25 4 clutch LSD, comparable to the diffsonline 4 clutch offering. All bearings and seals were replaced, and I have regularly changed the fluid with AMSOil 75W-140 Severe Gear since new to keep this nearly $3000 diff in good shape. The diff has 190 street miles and 4 drift events on it.

    Suspension and brake modifications:
    - SLR Full Angle kit with ultra length control arms, billet adjustable FCABs, and SLR camber adapters. Front strut towers have been clearanced to provide maximum positive camber correction.
    - Ground Control Track/School Coilover kit with 12k / 18k spring rates and bearing rear shock mounts
    - Front left wheel bearing has ~690 miles on it. Front right wheel bearing has under 100 miles since install.
    - Rear trailing arm bushings have ~690 miles
    - Stoptech Street Performance brake pads all around with ~690 miles
    - Techna-fit stainless steel brake lines
    - Not installed: Sikky hydraulic hand brake with separate reservoir, hard lines, stainless steel soft lines, Wilwood rear calipers, & brake pads. Needs mounting tabs for the rear brake calipers fabricated and welded onto the stock rear trailing arms to be mounted up; everything you need apart from that comes with the car.

    Exterior:
    - Custom modified 6" widened front fenders by jalopi of Bimmerforums
    - 17x8 XXR 006 front wheels with 215/40/17 Dunlop Direzza ZII tires
    - 6x 15x8 0 offset XXR 513 wheels. Two have brand new Sentury UHP 205/50/15 summer tires. Another pair have the same tires, but 50% worn from the last drift event this car attended (Freestyle drift camp). The last pair have no tires mounted.
    - HIK Fabrications skid plate, aka "Peerless" skid plate

    Issues:
    - Typical E30 rear battery tray rust. It passed Summit Point's tech inspection, but I'd be fixing it over the winter were I able to keep the car.
    - Driver's side window motor and window regulator are frozen. It might be easier to replace the entire door rather than source and swap the regulator.
    - Power windows, door locks, mirrors, and audio system have no power. This has been a non-tagged track car for the vast majority of its time with me, so this was not an issue.
    - Front core support and rear have been hit before I owned it. The car tracks straight, but the front passenger side headlight mounts would need to be pulled out to properly aim the front lights. The rear repair is okay, but it looks messy in the trunk area where it was repaired.
    - Front left turn signal intermittently shorts out.
    - The Ground Control lower camber plate doesn't mate well with the SLR Camber adapters. Order the sliders from SLR and replace this to make future adjustment easier.
    - SI board in the original eta gauge cluster is failing, thus so are the gauges in the cluster.
    - Driver's door needs to be reinstalled with shims to space it away from the front fender. These are included, as is a spare passenger door.
