Hey r3v, for sale is my stock 1991 318is, red over black interior with 199,000 miles. VIN:WBAAF931XMEE71965
- M42 runs great, has 200 psi compression across the board, & has no timing chain issues (I inspected the cam gears & replaced the tensioner for good measure).
-Tuned up with new vacuum hoses, spark plugs, fluids, etc.
-The 5 speed transmission shifts like butter (serviced with Redline MTL)
-The clutch grabs great.
-4.10 LSD still locks properly.
-New tie rods.
-New KYB shocks on all 4 corners.
-Tires have plenty of tread.
-New radiator.
-Heat works great.
-Odometer still works!
-Clean title.
-Absolutely no rust (Nevada car almost its whole life)
-Car runs smooth & straight down the freeway.
The car does have some age related issues however.
-It does leak a bit of oil.
-Headliner has a few holes & the sunroof crank is a bit finicky.
-Headlights only turn on with the high beams set (high beams donÂ’t function as a result), and fog lights don't work
-Suspension a little creaky, could probably use new bushings.
-A/C disconnected.
-Dash cracked
-Brake pedal is a little spongy (brakes could probably be redone)
-Aftermarket Radio is missing face plate
The car is not perfect by any means, but it presents well & can be a solid & reliable daily driver.
