WTB: E30 In Cali, Manual, Coupe

Ok, so my TIs going to be gone shortly, I listed it with no reserve, so its going for something! lol. I want an E30 again, obviously, which is why I registered here. Im looking to buy around mid october, but I figured I'd put out a feeler now! I have a couple requirements:
1) Manual
2) Coupe
3) Under 200k miles
4) Must pass emissions (you will do that before I fork over any cash)

Besides that, Im open to anything. Im willing to travel anywhere in CA to pick it up, after detailed pics and info is exchanged. Anything with a recently rebuild motor or head is a plus. Id prefer to have a clean title, but if you have a salvage for cheap, then I'll consider that. Im planning on this being my stop-gap til the new year, when I Get a 330, but who knows. If its a salvage, and I can get it cheap, I'll keep it as my beater, or I may keep it as my beater anyways.


I cant give you a price range, because its based about 80% on what my TI gets. Though I will be able to add up to maybe $1k of my own cash.

So lets see what you all have up for sale. Im pretty much leaning towards Roys right now, it seems like a good buy.

I have an auto, if its just a beater till you get a 330 you should consider.

Will not consider an automatic. Not only because I always hated driving my moms 325 E30 auto, but also because of the chances of something going wrong with an automatic is more likely than a manual. I very well may end up keeping it even when I get an E46, either 330 or some sort of CI. Especially if it takes me back to my old red 318, like the red 325e might.

I'll keep my eye on it. Not so sure about the M42, though. I wasnt too pleased with my M44 at all.

to each their own... I am an M42 believer. :) this is/was my 4th M42 car.
All of the E30s were awesome! The E36 M42 was lame.

Go test drive a 318is on craigslist ;)

Im sure its a whole new ball game in an E30. I'll keep you in mind, it does look clean and it IS RED.

Ive found a real good deal right now, if it goes through on a 325 with a bunch of mods. And its black... which is right behind a red to me.

So its between a black 6 cyl, or a red 4. Unless youre cheaper than his $3k.

cheaper than 3K... probably not. If you showed up at my doorstep with a wad of cash it might be hard to say no though haha.
If the deal falls through with that lemme know. BTW, if its a 325is in really good shape for 3k its probably a better deal than mine anyway!
