    WTB: 325i any year

Looking for a beater/project car. Going to be turbo'd

needs to be cheap would like to not spend more than $1500 but might be willing to work something out.

Needs a good transmission, wiring harness, ECU, intake components, ect.

Motor does not have to be good although would be a plus. Prefer no wrecked cars unless its front body work damage (fenders, hood, bumpers, even doors if theres nother but the door damaged)

doesnt need to be inspected, prefer clean title. Willing to pick up on trailer so doesnt need to be driveable.

    but needs

    Wheels,
    2 front seats
    steering wheel
    transmission
    all glass
no bad rust (no holes in the car, surface rust not a problem)
    wiring harness
    ECU
intake compenents (AFM, Intake Boots, ect...)
Prefer some sort of interior, but not manditory.

    Thanks

I've got a couple of candidates in the sub-$1k range.

'89 325i 2 door 5 speed, red with tan vinyl interior (torn driver seat), straight body- clearcoat peeling on one side of the car, needs headlights (sold the ellipsoids that were in there), car is otherwise complete- but engine needs work- the intermediate shaft is loose- maybe broken?? T-belt might have jumped a few teeth because of this.

'87 325e 2 door 5 speed, metallic silver/blue with black vinyl interior (torn driver seat), straight body- paint faded on roof, brand new el-cheapo tires, needs rear muffler and wiper motor or wiper linkage.

'87 325i 4 door 5 speed- picking this one up on friday, don't have many details about it right now other than it's been sitting under a tree for a couple of months.

    Located near Raleigh, NC.

          Bret,

I might be interested in one of your cars if the original poster passes. Send me some pics/info to michaelskeen AT earthlink.net if you would.

          Thanks,
          Michael
