Non running '86 325e Terre Haute, IN.

$300, doesn't run. Tried replacing the CAS and speed sensor due to not having spark, now my fuel pump isn't kicking on after that was replaced, tried putting the old ones back in and still no fuel.

    Stupid impulse buy.

Body is very straight, will be sold with bottle caps on all four.

(it's the primered one, sorry the picture is crap).

No damage that i'm aware of, body is very, very straight, interior is great with a few minor flaws, hazard switch is broken (still works, but pops out of place), there's for some reason switches drilled in the ash tray cover, 6x9s open in the rear deck, again, i don't know why...

Mileage is supposedly in the 110,000 range, but title says it's not actual miles, so it's hard to say, but i'd honestly doubt there is much more than that. Only window that works properly (just found this out) is the driver's.

I'm still debating trying to fix it or sell it, so please bare with me, i have no reason to sell other than having 3 cars and not really having the money to get this one going. I'm going to sell a few things and try a few more things, if i still can't getting going, it'll likely be gone. To be honest, i currently have $200 invested in it and want to go to my $300 price in trying to get it go, if i can't get it going with $300 invested, $300 firm will take it.

          Long ass delivery.

P.S. - You didn't send the wiring tails with that radio... I was talking about the tails in the dash that connect to it...

I think it's an ECU problem, i just noticed the CEL isn't coming on at all. I'm going to try a new main relay and ECU tomorrow.

To the far west near the Illinois border, MapQuest it www.mapquest.com.

Don't sweat it too much unless you can get them for free from the junkyard.

Chillicothe isn't too far, i picked up a 325is from a friend from your area a few weeks ago, about a three hour drive.

If i could get it working. :P

I don't know what's wrong, i had one cassette deck working with my hack wiring, but i couldn't get the sound to work and it had some internal bulbs burnt out that i couldn't solder new bulbs in to. I tried this one and it wasn't getting power, tried the other one and it's not either. I'd like to get the real wiring tails so i can get everything back to factory and diagnose better. Didn't know you were sending me an infared one, that was a pretty good deal you gave me, had no problem getting a radio code through JGood on the boards here. :) Unfortionately, it has even more complex wiring, haha.

If i do get 'er running, i'd like to drive it for atleast the Winter and put a little money in to paint. For now, $300 waved in my face would probably take it, no less. I love the car, the four doors have me hooked, even my girlfriend agrees she likes the four door more, looks better and easier to get around in. I just really don't have the money for it (wish i did!), recently lost my job and working with the money i have saved back.

                      I forgot to mention, it's a leather interior. ;)

Wish i could edit the title, i guess this could be considered a feeler.

Lots of potentional with this car, i see no serious rust, the fender has a small hole starting at the bottom, but that's all i've found. The pinch weld was even perfect until i got a hold of it and lowered it on a scissor jack for a jackstand. :(

sorry if i missed it, but is it a 5-speed or automatic? Also, it looks like it's been lowered.

5 spd, it's lowered, the previous owner cut the front and left the ass jacked up like a mexican whore, i cut the rears.

Anyone? I think it's time to let go, i don't have the money for this as much as i would like to stick with it, i can't have three project cars. Really wish i could stick with it, seems like it'd make a good daily driver. I'm going to try a few freebie things tomorrow to try to get it to go, but if it's still a no go, it's got to go.
