WTB- E30 325 - $5000 - in OR/WA

I am looking to buy E30 325i or 325is, not an eta. Ideally I would like to spend around $3500 for a clean 89+ 325is with 120k, but thats probabally not going to happen. Im willing to spend up to 5k, maby even a little more for the right car. I am only interested in a manual transmission car with no or very little rust, and very little or no body damage. I am located in Portland, OR and would be willing to travel about 3 hours in any direction for the right car.

LOOKING FOR A CAR AGAIN!!!!!


I bought my first e30 because I needed a daily and I was getting impatient looking. Now I have some time and would like another that I can modify and track.

Criteria for the new search is plastic bumpered only cars, 5spd only, no rust, no frame damage and good paint. Budget right now will be about $4000. I could be willing to go higher later but for now thats all i can reasonably afford until i sell my other car (i dont plan to sell until summer as i still need it for a daily)

If you happen to have the e30 im looking for and happen to want a 87 325is with 218k (i think its worth about $2000) + cash, that would work for me.

Ive looked at a few cars I found on craigslist and decided that what I am really looking for is an 'is, the non-sport seats and suspension just kill me. I am open to either a 325is or 318is; a 325i could work if you have done some mods or if it magically gives off good vibes (some cars do this for me, I cant explain it).
