WANTED: e30 325i/s e28 535i/s e21 FULLY SORTED
Looking to step it up a notch here.
I am looking for a FULLY SORTED vehicle, MANUAL TRANSMISSION ONLY, good paint and interior, overall maintenance has been kept up, UNDER 200,000 miles for sure, the lower, the better. No convertibles please. I will pay a fair market value for the car depending on the condition and modifications, if any. All ranges of modifications will be considered, from bone stock low mileage examples to the street legal track machine.
Budget will not exceed $10k.
All cars must be able to be made to pass CA smog (or fool CA smog) within reason. If you think your car doesn't apply, that means I really want to see it even more. :)
Salvage title cars will be looked at as well, but know that IMHO they are worth much less than a non-salvaged car. Once it's bent, it's bent for life.
Let it be said I'm not huge on an S pack car, the sport seats and steering wheel don't really mean that much to me (I have several MOMO wheels waiting). The LSD is the main thing i'm after in an S pack, this doesn't mean you wont get what your car deserves, just know that I will not look down on any non-S pack models.
Color is not a huge issue, for the record I like any exterior besides red (but might buy one if everything else is right) and I prefer tan interiors but black is also good. If you have a red interior, you need not apply here, that is disgusting. Red on Red cars will immediately have their ad's deleted ;) Cloth, vinyl, or leather, it doesn't matter.
For an e30 I am looking for the following:
2dr is STRONGLY preferred, but a 4dr will be considered if everything else is golden
If it's an M20 car, MUST have an "I" engine or a stroker (be prepared to be at the much lower end of $10k)
M50/2 Cars I am also interested in
s50/2 cars please prepare to be bought immediately (One of the only cars I might pay $10k for)
M20 turbo is also strongly sought after
v8 swap is also sought after, and if smog legal, may go above $10k
e30 M3's need not apply, especially if they are still a 4cyl, I refuse to pay for the name, some fender flares will do the same once I'm done with it.
For an e28 I am looking for the following:

Turbo is preferred

For an e21:
All may apply, but i'm definitely not looking for a beater by a longshot.
REALLY clean, low miles, etc.

Lets be clear here, I want good paint and decent enough interior, I am a professional detailer. I am also a mechanic and know what I'm looking at and looking for, the mechanicals need to be in good shape. Most cars past 170k won't be strongly considered unless there has been some SERIOUS work done. Maintenance records are a big plus.
