    E28 M5, 93k miles

    Description:

The car has 92,xxx miles on it, with car fax proving that that is the correct mileage. It runs strong, but a misfire in the 6th cylinder is occurring, but is soon to be fixed, or the price can be dropped a little. Nothing else if wrong with the engine, the oil was changed every 3k miles. The transmission was rebuilt and new tranny fluid was done. The Brakes are new, new rotors and pads were installed, so the car stops on a dime. The clutch is good, with no slipping. The driveshaft was replaced and ordered from Germany because it is specific to the M5. The rear differential is original and is running strong. The suspension is tight and the self leveling suspension works like a charm. Interior of the car is in good shape. The driver’s side seat has a rip, but all of the other seats are in great shape. The dash is cracked, and some buttons might need replacement. The sunroof is electrical and work perfectly. The spare is a full size basket weave with Dunlop tires as the rest of the car. They have about 70 percent thread remaining.

    The bad:
The car has hail damage and needs a new paint job. The wheels need new emblems as does the hood and the trunk. The dash needs replacement as well. The dumper moldings need to be refinished and the front spoiler has a little crack (refer to picture). The hood springs need adjustment and the odometer gears need replacing. That is all I can think of that needs to be fixed in order to make this car shine. Please let me know if there anything I am missing that I have not mentioned that is in the photos.

Ha! Some poor schmuck just got screwed over and bought a very expensive rolling chassis that needs a $10k motor and complete paint job. I vote to ban this member. I'll be posting the same over at bf.c. We don't need people like this in our community.
