My Old Jetta For Sale Cheap 1985 To 1991 16v Specs

I KNOW IT IS NOT A BMW BUT STILL A GOOD CAR CHEAP IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED just lost interest in my baby and too many cars!
    body...
    * mars red respray 4 years ago (uponte imeron) always kept in carport w/ car cover, still mint!
    * late doors (front) w/ 88 wiindow channels ( this eliminates the cut out for the passive restraint that has been removed
*late 3 bar grill w/ e code areos w/ 130h-90l xenon bulbs wired direct
with relays (this is friggin bright!!)
*front big bumper w/ smoked turns 16v lower spoiler and abs dtm lip spoiler and s/s stabilizers (color matched)
    *side marker (bananna lights) shaved
    *late side muolding
    *power windows all four doors
    *late rear trunk filler panel
    *color matched gli rear spoiler
    *kammei grille spoiler (color matched)
*real impreza hood scoop (working) i did this reluctantly, but with the hellish az summer temps i was unhappy w/ my eng temps, esp w/ the 16v, it made a huge difference! it gives the heat a way to escape when you are sitting/ parked, and when you are moving it provides cool air to the eng and blows directly on the manifold
*4 year old felt roof channels/seals replaced w/ the respray @ $150 each
*working mono wiper w/ plug on the extra hole (if you want to put ot back and yes it sweeps the whole windshield (nice to drive past a mono wipered honda in the rain w/ only half of his cleaning!
*hood shocks (new) adapted from early scricco rear hatch struts
*rear big bumper (color matched) exhaust cut opened up for dtm muffler w/ s/s heat shield
    * this is a non-sunroof GLI (i think that's rare, it's the only real GLI i have ever seen w/o a sun roof, but that does make it lighter)
*de-locked handles on all doors (factory vw, not aftermarket junk ones)

    interior...
*complete late recaro interior (gray) with earlier recaro front seats the fronts a kinda ragged but it' typical recaro wear (outside pads) but the material is ok , it's the vinyl that's suffering (it'll cost about $300.00 to redo them just about anywhere, average price i have found) i just noticed that the rear seat has some stitching that is comming undone too, the fronts are power
*power windows with switches in the center console only ( i just thought it looked cleaner that way)
*schroth rallye 4 4-point harness (red) with pads
    * kameii radio delete w/ vdo white face gauges (volt, water temp.,oil temp.) w/ green back lighting to match factory
    *white background climate controls
*160 mph speedo and 16v tach (the tach quit working) black faces
*10,000 auto meter white face memory tach with shift light (did this when the tach quit)
*black dashmat (yea i know who cares, jut being thourgh)
*momo race steering wheel w/ rare?? wolfsburg castile crest center button (just never seen another one)
*billet ball type shifter knob (one off)
    *billet lock pulls
*a-piller gauge mount w/ C.B. performance a/f ratio gauge (green back light)

    chassis...
*all poly suspension mount through out car
*neuspeed front and rear swaybars (the rear is adj.)
*autotech front and rear alum strut tie bars
*front adj hight coil-overs with relocated lower perches (this allows you to run a better sping rate and a longer spring..better ride and handling without riding like a lowered mini truck) with koni adj struts housings are powercoated gloss black with new strut brgs.
*rear hight adj. coil-overs with poly mounts and koni adj. shocks
*g-60 master cyl (new) bigger piston/bore
*g-60 front rotors, cross drilled, with audi turbo quattro calipers, with porterfield sr-4 pads (hot street compound)
*new wheel brgs 2 years ago front and rear, with redline synthetic grease
*stainless braided brake lines front and rear
*rear cross drilled rotors with mintex pads
*new c.v.'s and boots 3 years ago (not rebuilt half shafts, usually junk! ) with empi boots (synthetic epdm rubber) and redline synthetic grease
    *tt short shift kit
*ALL new shift bushings and new ball and shaft
    engine...
*2.0 lt 16v based on magnafluxed "bubble block" built by competition eng
*new high volume oil pump with both late oil baffles and factory windage tray, it just takes a little hand fitting to make this work ,but you will never starve the oil pump unless you run it out of oil!
    * oil groved pistons with total seal second rings and dykes top and oil rings (oil groving helps trap oil on the skirt of the piston this helps with wear) custon made teflon button piston pin retainers (never a pin failier problem and the buttons will last indeffenately)
*2.0 16v head ported and polished by the late dean lowery (deano dynosoars fame for air cooled people) shortened guides (extra flow), only one cut on the head, autotech 16v cam set, high rev springs (tt's before they went bad), match ported new exhaust manafold HPC silver coated, factory euro cat less downpipe (not a tt copy) extra long second res. (glass pack w/ perferated core) tt cat back, with ss dtm muffler
*late 42mm intake manifold ported to 47mm all the way through the runners and matched to the head (extra top, but with out the bottom end loss of the euro 50mm and the cost) ported/ smoothed throttle body with new switches
*new radiator w/ dual fans from passat shroud powercoated saftey yellow
    *new water pump and housing
    *new bosch wires and coil
*super high output alt (it put out 280 amps on ourt new snap-on vat -40 ) with adj voltage regulator. the bearings are making noise, should be replaced, but a cheep fix. i had this custom built from an early audi turbo quattro alt.
*big bore intake runner with new boots
*drilled air box with k&n filter and outerwears pre-filter
*hd alt and starter wiring (4 gauge) harnesses with gold plated terminals
*passat wiring harness for the motronic cis-e conversion with late brain (more diag capable) diag ports in the eng bay, GIAC chipped
*newer p/s pump and rack with new outer tie rod ends ( oh yea, camber bolts in the front struts)
*optima red top battery with gold terminals
*engine has ARP headstuds with Raceware washers (these are machined insted of stamped..absolutely flat for more even torque), rod bolts, and main studs
*most brackets are powercoated safety yellow
custom front engine mount made from early 8-v mount with solid poly insert (i have 2 different durometer inserts 1 is 90 the other is 114)
*ream trans mount is new with a poly insert, side mount is new
*lightened flywheel w/ matched static balanced pressure plate
*all engine internals are ballanced rotationally and the rods are matched to the pistons for weight ballance
    *new hoses 2 years ago
*new fuel pumps, both of them $$$$!!!
****ok here's the bad news...the head needs to be pulled and new valve guide seals installed along with one spark plug insert on the #1 cyl (this cyl always oil fouled the plug ever since i switched to mobil-1 after the eng was broken in) this will require a stud puller tool only available from snap-on ($60) as it has the old style head studs w/o the allen hole in the top. i started to do this to sell it, but lost motivation and desire to finish. everything that has been removed has been boxed and put in the trunk...nothing is lost. the intake is off, so is the valve cover and the cams are out. that's it.

***the spares include an 8v gli trans with taller r&p for free way, the retaining pin for the spider gear came out ate the case, but it had all new brgs and magged gears and a velocity diff kit:
audi tt front rotors new factory. i was going to add them...lost interest in car,
early audi tt 16" rims (5spoke)
extra velocity ltd slip kit (these work really well, they are no quaiffe, but for the $ you can't beat them)
    i think about 8 ,16v ant. tops
about 3 boxes of misc vw parts.
**i forgot the tranny is rebuilt by az trans exchange, w/ stock 16v gears and r&p, new bearings, and velocity ltd slip
** the rims are racing Senica type 58a's 16x8's with honda offset, you can bury the car with these
**the car has g-60 arches front and rear (new with paint job) and the late side skirts
** car has a mazda rx-7 oil cooler mounted in front
** comes with nos nitros kit w custom adapter for fogger that puts it after the tb so it won't freeze the throttle open, used when the car had an 8-v motor never installed on the 16v motor
i think that is it, will add if i think of anything else.
    $3500 obo
NO I WILL NOT PART IT OUT OR SELL ANYTHING SEPERATE< SO DON'T ASK!
hit me up if you are interested
    greg

worse yet...i spent around 25sih K to get it to that point. 4 K alone on the motor/ longblock, i never intended to sell it long before that point though. not bad cars, shit was still expensive when i built it though.
