    Feller/fs/ft: my e30

Is anyone interested in my car? I hate to see it go, but this thing has become so problematic for me lately that I am thinking about getting rid of it. I just dont have the time like I used to to keep up with everything it needs and I need something newer.

This car has a lot of crap done to it, and a lot of new parts on it. wont list everything, if there is some kind of interest I'll go in depth. It does need work, and if I sold it, id probably take care of some of it before it goes. The rest is little stuff that I just never got around too. It could be one hell of a car for someone who gets it where it needs to be. Its damn quick for an m50b25 imo, and handles extremely well.

I'm still not sure if i'd really go through with this yet, but checking my options. I know what id like to get as far as price, and trades, e36 or super clean late model e30s. e36+ cash on my part of course, looking for an ///m

It runs and drives fine, there are lingering idle issues which I want to relate to a very bad idle air control hose, possibly the valve, and the intake boot. The temp gauge goes crazy when fully warmed up, but I highly doubt that it gets very hot, after 80 mph on the highway for an hour the upper and lower rad hoses arent that hot to touch. The obc backlight went out but the led is good (?). The ambient temp sensor is gone.

The exhaust leaks which is annoying as hell, but I have many parts to try and do it right. It keeps throwing o2 codes with a new sensor installed. It also has a code for knock sensor which needs replaced. The vaders are okay, but there was something sticky on the seat bottom that messed up the leather on both drives and passenger seats. There are no rear door panels. The hood has been damaged from someone in my apartment complex, the front end is chipped up beyond recognition.

The starter has issues which drives me crazy, and sometimes the car just plain wont even start (not related to the starter, its brand new). It needs tires and the wheels need redone.

Oh yea, and I seriously doubt anyone will be able to get this car to pass inspection due to the exterior modding -ie: lights, sidemarker removal, etc.

          Anyone want the car now?

I dont have anything recent, this gives an idea.

in all honesty, i will probably keep the car unless someone is real serious and would consider my rediculous price. Most of it is just on impluse and I just dont think i can let it go, but ill see what ever interest there is.

If you do get rid of your car, there's a late model 325i out infront of Elwoods. It's a 2door Bronzit, Didn't look at it that much. But i didn't see any damage to it.

Front end recently replaced, new control arms, tie rods. One rust spot under rear tail light.

Fixed the no start, and the coolant gauge problems, was a poor ground. The newer engines really need their grounds. Have new parts on the way to fix other issues with the car. Probably going to get tires for it, so it'll just be cosmetics that need dealt with.

I've seen many swapped cars in the 6-8k range and I feel its worth the lower end of that. I dont think i'll sell this car as it has been in the family since new. I love that e36 though and would probably buy it outright if it was for sale in sept.
