    FS: 88 E30 M3 / Track Car

    1988 JS/JP E30 M3 Located near Tampa, Florida.

Engine: Odometer stopped at 83k but was driven only to and from the track. Dyno'd at 176hp/162ftlbs about 6-7 months ago. Strong motor. Replaced rod bearings when I first picked it up in late 03. 3k oil change with Mobil 1. Z3 short shifter. New hoses, new plugs, new cap/rotor. Removed AC and Power Steering. I still have the power steering pump though. 3" single exhaust system via two Borla mufflers. SBI oil pan baffle.

Interior: Cage was done by AutoTechnik under J-Stock Ruling. OMP Record 2 seat and HANS 2/3" belts by Schroth. No Radio, LTW blank. No passenger seat. Carpet still intact.

Suspension: Gruppe N Springs, Bilstein sports (not revalved), no rear bar, and stock front bar. Handles on rails at Sebring and Homestead. Stock offset mounts, no camber plates. Sparco front bar, SBI rear bar.

Exterior: Car was repainted (Alpineweiss I) when I first bought it, there are some minor rust bubbles on the sun roof, and driver/passenger side lower window trim (common).

Chassis: The car is straight and car fax can test to this. On the alignment rack, it has about -3 degrees in front and -2.25 in the rear.

What it needs: Subframe bushings and reinforcements. I have reinforcements, but have yet to install new bushings. The dash needed some work and the stock cluster does not fit, due to the dash bar. Install a kill switch, and the car is ready to go. I have not gotten a log book for it but wasn't considering selling it.

I would like $13k but understand the subframe job is about a $1k job, so I am open to OBO. Other than the above, the car is a strong runner and I have had no problems with it; other than the common S14 glitches.

Spares: Stock 15" with street tires, Stock 15" with 70% Hankooks. I'll throw in K1 race suit, gloves, underwear as well.
