Yeah there is one other lagoon vert i see every few months in my area. The day i bought this car i drove past it. A few days ago i parked next to an early lagoon e36 325i, such a beautiful color.

So I checked out the car today. For a 91, with 175k on the clock, the car looks incredibly clean. It looks exactly how pictured, with maybe even some nicer spots than pictured. Very clean car indeed.

When test driving it though, it overheated within the first 2 blocks. And it didnt seem like it had very much power. Im sure thats just because Im used to the manual in mine. But I remember my moms having more power for some reason. The overheating was a bit of a concern though, enough to detour the sale.

So just a heads up to whoever wants to spend a 4 hour trip to go look at a car that overheats. Im a little dissapointed by that, since everything else seemed to check out how described.

I gave myself some time off from my red car to get this thing worked out. This car had a pretty new thermo that i put in so when i heard the needle was jumping during the test drive i thought it just needed a bleed. I took some time today to do that and i drove it around but the needle didnt like the bleed still. I threw in a new gauge and it is perfect. I drove it hard for a short while and let it idle for a few and the needle was right in the middle.

THere you go, gauge isnt so bad. To be honest, the rest checked out very nicely.
