    FS: 1990 325i - VA

I purchased this car back in January to use as a daily driver while I waited for my 74 2002 to finish being rebuilt/restored.

Well....my 2002 (see pic below) should be returning to me in a couple of weeks and my wife says that this needs to go to make room. Apparently 4 cars for 2 drivers is too much.

    Link to restoration blog...

Anyway, here is a rundown on the e30.

Car has had 3 owners. 1st was a BMWCCA member and driving instructor, 2nd was M-Technik-3 and 3rd is myself and has been well maintained.

    238K miles on the engine

    The Good

    Driveshaft replaced last year
AC compressor replaced 2 years ago - AC blows cold
    5 spd
    Rare LSD
Cloth interior - Passenger sport seat on driver side.
    Eibach M3 Comp Springs
    Bilstein Sport Shocks
    Camber Plates
Adjustable Swaybars - 1st owner claimed they were Eibach...2nd thought they were H&R
    Front Stress Bar
    SS Brake lines
    New Water Pump
    New Timing Belt
    New Belts
    Hella H4 Low Beams
    Hella H1 High Beams
    Short Shift Kit - Autosolutions
Minimal Rust (One spot on sunroof panel, other on rear apron under battery tray)
    Uncracked Dash
    Momo Shift Knob

    Done/added in last 3 months

    New O2 Sensor
    New Fuel Pressure Regulator
    New Fuel Filter
    New Plugs
    New Air Intake Boot
    New Coolant Temperature Sensor
    New Rotors & Pads (PAGID)
New Kumho ASX All-Season Tires on Style 10 Rims
Recent Heater Core recall work performed
    Current Safety Inspection
    Current Emissions Certificate
    MTech1 Steering Wheel
    New PS hose
    Newish oil cooler and lines

    The Bad

Needs a repaint - crazing on doors, peeling on airdam, small amount of bodywork evident on front right fender
Idles a little rough at startup. Think the injectors could use servicing.
1 foglight cracked...of course it is the one that works
Antenna doesn't go up/down.....reception is still good.
Radio shows "Code". Need to get S/N and take it to dealer for code ($15).

    Perfect SpecE30 candidate.

    Looking for $3100/OBO

Additional Interior & Seat Pics....remember...this is a passenger side sport seat mounted on the driver's side. Passenger seat could use a good cleaning.

I drove this car today, very nice car but wife thought it was too small for our needs. Very nice minus the few issues noted. Mileage does not seem like an issue, pulled nice and strong and ac blows cold air awesome.

Perfect car for entry spec e30 or cheap paint job DD or drive as is.

Nice little project you got going on there. Good luck with the sale of the e30. That thing has a very clean interior. Too bad both fronts aren't sport seats.

Ian said he is working with the previous owner, M-technik-3 from e30tech to get one for it.

I plan on attending the NCCBMWCCA Deutsche Marque Concours (see link) on Sunday the 6th and will probably drive it there (not for show) if anyone attending wants to take a look at it.
