I have in my possession a beater, daily, winter driver car for the D.C. region. Its a pretty solid car, but it needs a few things to be a nice driver.
The good:
-325 base model, so you get the good gas mileage with 4,500 angry hampsters per minute.
-Cool blue vinyl interior for that "Miami Vice" awesomeness, with absolutely no cracks sans one small one on the drivers seat in the dead center.
-Solid running engine with fresh oil and a new battery, a nice driver for what its worth.
-No serious bodypanel damage, all panels are pretty dent free.
-Very clean interior and NO cracks on the dash, still has some texture to it.
-114,644 miles.
-Plenty of tread left on tires, very clean bottlecaps and MUDFLAPS! (missing one on drivers side though)
The not as good:
-Rust on passenger side rockerpanels, underneath rear license plate lights, side of trunk.
-Faded paint on side, bit of the hood.
-Cracked foglights.
-Needs a good cleaning.
-OBC is in Predator writing.
-Antenna needs to be replaced, the bent hanger isn't doing any good.
The only thing this car really needs is a new exhaust, the old one is very torn up and busted. It also needs a new steering rack, the one in there now is totally dead and there is no power steering whatsoever. Everything else works fine.
The car is meant to be your next daily beater or winter beater, but if you have the time and effort, you may be able to part the car out and get what you need and sell the rest. The panels are clean and pretty dent free!
With all that said and done I'm looking to get around $950 for the car, so without futher ado, the pictures:
