feeler wtt: 318 or eta for e28

i love driving my e28 but with price of gas it just dosen't make sense as a dd anymore. i've been trying to talk a friend into trading for his eta but he needs the mpg too. does anyone have an eta they'd want to trade for something with a little more power?

    i have:
    1984 533i
205xxx mi. (well maintained w/ receipts)
    z3 short shifter
    bilstein hds
    535 exhaust
    16x8 baskets w/ 225s on all 4
    keyless entry*

    the good:
car runs strong and has alot of power
no rust issues (two spots, sanded and undercoated, not coming back)
    comes with spare parts**

    the bad:
dash is kind of a mess.
some connectors are loose behind the dash so: the speedo drops out at random, can be brought back by pushing on the cluster, the obc is dead, may need reconnected, may be dead, cruise dosen't work
the car is in primer, because the paint that was on it before looked worse, if you want it painted, it's already got one coat of primer (will do one more coat before delivery)
car is generally old (was my dd for over a year, saw lots of life before me)
*broke the keyring on the keyless entry remote, may need new remote if you want to carry it on your keys.

basically the car is solid, and i would continue to drive it everyday if it weren't for the price of gas. that being said, it's quite quick and i think would be a fair trade for a high mile e30 that runs.

i'm looking for 1200 to sell the car, and i'm looking for a fair deal.

    BAM! bandit...
