      Dang,

      I have never seen a beat up 1988 M5 like this, specially in the state of CA

      Looks like that $5,500 can easily go over $10,000 to get in in real shape:)

      I mean you would not catch me driving this M5 in its current state.

        Well, that's why I didn't price it at 10k+ haha. It's a project. The way I figure it, anybody interested in this particular exmaple is not looking for a low mileage all original car, so they were going to do the suspension and put some sticky tires on it anyway. Now they are just getting a price break since the old suspension is toasted haha.

        It's a car that you can drive while you can work on...

          Just for kicks, I may be interested in a trade for a decent 325is with a nice suspension setup plus cash.
