Feeler: WTT my E28 for a decent E30

See my FS ad... if you can find it. If not, here's a basic idea:

1984 533i 5 speed with 116,000 miles - in case you don't do math, thats really good...
Solid mechanicals (needs a throw out bearing, I'll do this if we agree on a trade.)
Bilstein Sports, H&R springs, 16x8 BBS Style 5s, Yok AVS ES100s, new UCAs with 750il bushings
NICE interior, black leather in great shape, E30 maplight mirror, M5 shift knob (used :pimp: )
I can throw in a set of old school Recaros for a nicer E30
Body is in decent shape but needs paint... looks kinda gangster right now though
One spot of rust on the entire car, at the bottom of the LF fender
Newish 535i center and rear muffler assembly... sounds stock... nice and deep at idle (love that M30)
    EVERYTHING WORKS!!!!!

I have a ton more detailed pictures including a shot of the rust, interior, engine bay (clean, and a few mods plus a recent tuneup)... I can even take some non-flattering shots of the shitty paint.

What I am looking for: Preferably a plastic bumper car, but not necessary... I like the early arches. It has to run and drive, basically be in comparable mechanical condition to this 5 series since I will be using it for transportation to and from work and school. If possible I'd like something under 200,000 miles, and I am not opposed to cars with suspension mods, cool wheels (BBS), etc.

    What you got?!?! :hitler:

I would def. trade i think....it would be hard to part from a convertible, but i love early 80's bimmers!

    -89 325i vert
-217,xxx (rebuilt , not sure how much of it is on the rebuilt)
-all new ucc slotted roters and pads
    -rear deck from a 325i
    -magna flow exhaust cat back
    -LSD
    -5 speed
    -sport seats
    -heated seats
-new alpine speakers all the way around

    the bad:
might need a new top soon... it doesnt leak but is getting stringy
could use new struts and springs

    pics...

    what do you think?

My asking price for the car as it sits is $3000... I can provide detailed pictures and information on basically every aspect of the car, as I have touched basically everything on it in the 14 months since I bought it.

Rick - I am intrigued by your vert, I never thought I would be but it looks pretty nice... PM if you are serious and we will talk some more!
