I dissagree to an extent. 200k is not really a big deal now a days. As long as it was well maintained, it shouldn't make that much of a difference from a 150k or even a 125k car. Now, 80k original miles is completely different.

If you all hadn't noticed, the value of these cars is definitely started going up. $7k may be a little high, but if some one wants a really nice car, I'm sure the OP can negotiate a price.

What happened to the wheels? Were they BBS or reps, and do you still have them??

Very nice, may I suggest a comoline removal? The mass market suggest the car is worth $3500. Being this is an enthusiast site you should get a bit more than that.

Bingo. I'd pay $3800. Tack on that 300 over market premium because, hey, we are enthusiasts after all.

I am not affiliated with JoeBMW at all. But I've got to say, I don't know why everyone is hating at his price. I don't agree that his car is worth 3kish. To me, an enthusiast, I can see how it is worth 5.5-6.5k. You aren't going to find an e30 in that condition and so well taken care of for 3.5k. I don't know the name, but a nice red e30 that was on here and people knew the guy and car, I believe it sold for around 10k, wasn't his price high? I mean it was a well taken care of car, just like JOEBMW's minus a few flaws.

I sold my "nice" 1991 318is for 4.5k and a lot of people wanted it, not even enthusiasts. Even after I sold it, I still had people calling for that car, and I didn't even try.

Seems like everyone here is in the "forum hate mode". Seems to happen with almost every forum, kinda sad.

Eds car had a fully built stroker and some nice wheels and more mods.(the drivers side fender looks bent) The person who bought it came off as a dick and has been trying to sell it for over 10 months. I'd buy for 5ish but not from someone offensive. Marketing 101 also says don't offend potential customers, or us non customers. I'm sure at least 10% of us have met someone in the last 3 months looking for a clean BMW. Personality goes a long way and if the seller does not come across as a good guy. Well lets just say good luck with the sale.

ive been searching for a clean hardtop.
                            and
                            "nice ride."

I think some (note, not all) will agree that given time, this car can fetch at least 5k to anyone who knows e30s.

but the time will be halfed if you (as stated above) clean up the engine bay.

Restoman Very nice, may I suggest a comoline removal? The mass market suggest the car is worth $3500. Being this is an enthusiast site you should get a bit more than that.
my car, has dings and i drive it like its got the last tank of gas on the planet, yet my engine is polished.
                            and
i get 5k offers all the time.

                            so,
if you ever need to sell it, send it to a motor head like me to detail that engine for ya, and you will be paid back in diamonds (or just dont post the engine photos)

                            i have an idea.
]post my enginebay as yours and watch the difference.

                            btw, mine is fast

                            either way.
im happy to see it for sale,
and if your not driving her, it also shows good etiquette to allow another the feeling of that car.

i guess i have alot to say.
b/c if that car had the mtech 2 kit or the euro bumpers, or even a DINAN title, it would be gone by now.

but your not even selling the wheels.

                            so,
keep it for sale, it will go eventually.
but before you sign the title, remember what a great car that is, and like so many other e30 owners, you may regret losing it.

                            dont sweat the haters.
try to look another way and remember, YOU already have that car, you CAN name your own price, and maybe your just subconsciously not selling it b/c a car like that is very difficult to replace.

(notice the guy asking for a trade w/a newer model ?)*(that should tell you enough)

i will continue to say, 90/s bmws are selling cheaper than alot of 80/s.
                            just look at the m3
                            90 m3 went for almost 30k, while a 98m3 is going for 7k

btw, poeple are searching bmw, and find a 98m3 for the same price as yours is almost always gonna go for the m3 (even though they dont know the difference yet)

                            so.
hang in there :finger: - bump

thanks for all the replies. i have been alittle busy with work and other things.

As of now i have two serious people to come look at the car. They both LOEVED the car. but they were short on the money. Like i have said before, i dont need to sell it. i have actually been driving it alot now and i can honesty say that i would regret not having it in my family of e30s. So until i do find the right buyer it staying.

Acutally, i have some work planned for her...stay tuned

I love what you have done with your car, one of my favorites on the board. The car is worth every dollar and I hope you don't settle for anything less.
