WTB: 89-91 318i/is in WASHINGTON state

I am interested in buying a different car then I have, I am interseted in getting a 318i/is between 1500-2300 dollars and somewhat low mileage. Sport seats, with descent paint, and interior condition, must be a 5spd.

E30 318i/is W M42 motor only came in 91 and they all came with a 5 speed. Sports seats will only be available in the is model. Easy to retrofit sport seats into a 4 door. Have you looked in the classifieds on M42club.com or Craigslist in OR/WA cities? 4 door 318i's can be had for a great price, it seems that the 2 door 318is prices have started to rise. The M42 motor is sweet, it loves to rev and comes alive after 3500 RPM, and also it has a timing chain, no timing belt to change every 60K . It also get 30 MPG on the highway

You're going to have a very hard time finding a decent 318is for that price range. A nice example with typically go for around $3500.

Thanks for the input, I am looking at one down my road for 2500$ the paint on the hood is sh1t but the inside is emaculate. Front seats were just reapulstered
