I went and looked at a car today I thought someone here might have some interest in. I met this gentleman at the beginning of the summer at a junk yard and actually sold him some parts he needed. He kept my number and is selling his 1986 325e. I do not need this car but told him I would post it here for him. 1986 325e, bronzit, 5spd, Brown houndstooth interior with Brown carpet and brown door cards, not tan, dark brown I promise. The part that I do not understand is that it has a canadian sticker on the door jam and has a Kilometer only speedo, liter fuel gauge and liter mpg gauge under tack, but has the US bumpers. So I do not know if this is a canadian born car or US with Euro instrument cluster. Also the factory door sticker says USA? It has 330000 Kilos on the car and it started right up and ran good. Some rust on the wheel arches and battery tray area in the engine bay (battery is in trunk). No tool kit, some orange peel from sun faded paint, decent tires. Interior is dirty with minor rips. Dash is heavily cracked, after market radio, Computer does not work, and I did not ask about AC. He is looking for $1200 and I told him he could probably get around $1000. I did not check out the VIN number as i was on my Motorcycle and had nothing to write with.
