Always been a CA car , spent a good portion of its life in nor-cal.
I bought the car from an older gentlemen in altadena, CA ( LA county) in 2002 where he told us the motor was rebuilt to stock specs with the help of a 32/36 weber carb and a Tii exhaust manifold.
the car rides like a dream, has plenty of low end torque which is great for daily driving .
Its a 76 and has been smogged , the A/C system doesnt work , I never bothered with it, could be a simple fix or could be something major, I just havent looked into it ( im not a A/C using type of guy )
tires are good - couple thousand on them
same goes with the clutch
5 spd upgrade via 83 320i
good stereo system
new plugs and wires
new battery
top end short front bumper kit
