Hi, My beemer costs too much for me to repair.
comes with hard top as well as soft top.
Two years ago I had the engine re-built by diamond automotive (because it's a great car- it cost $4,100) the mileage at the re-machining was 119,000.
now it's 141k
this spring it started leaking coolant alot. It's been sitting through the summer I just had a mechanic take a look who said it'll take alot of time, and thus alot of money to fix...

Buddy went and checked this out twice this week. just when they were ready to close the deal... "oh the hard top is another 1.5k)... Lots of work needed... Perhaps for the right person but the girl selling it sounds a bit wacky...

Just to add some info...I was the one that went to check out the car..and took the pics...thanks ZM...the soft top was shot...was ripped/cut and would need to be replaced...as ZM stated...I ran away from the car...the car is currently at a shop which recommended that she NOT fix the car...it needs someone from here or elsewhere willing to restore it...but not for $2K or the $2800 she wanted for everything including the hardtop

Oh...NO way in heck the motor was rebuilt 2 years ago....

if it was manual and the engine is sound, it may have been a good candidate for exterior and interior restoration.
