jesus christ guys...it's a 15+ year old car.
it's in immaculate condition and obviously has been taken care of. Although I'm sure he appreciates the remarks, if you don't want to buy it, then my guess is the seller doesn't need the unnecessary comments.
Very sweet and clean e30. Perfect demonstration of a well done clean car. GL with the sale.Comment

Just a bunch or small things really that were put back together weird with the original build. The alternator was actually hanging on by a thread
Everything now is built to TIS (technical information system) specs so it is like it rolled out of the factory.
That is a flake off the "shadowline" I will likely repair that before it sells, it just hasn't bothered me yet
-Rob
Everything is built to TIS? Do you even know what you're talking about? Why don't you take a minute and explain to us.........
Anyway, the only thing I neglected to do with my old e30 was screen the buyer before I sold it.
Good luck to the new owner.
Btw, the left side was hit and "repaired" by the original owner which expains the wavy driver's door/qtr panel and somewhat misaligned fender, I disclosed before I sold it.
edit, why does the engine bay look so neglected, damn?Comment

BMW TIS is a website with all repair instructions, torque specs, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, etc. I dont know how he has logged on/got a copy without paying or being a tech for it though.Comment

Oh really?
I am far more knowledgable about these cars than before pal,
I basically rebuilt the car and know every flaw you neglected to address and made sure it was corrected.
Im not talking shit but the car is currently in better condition than I recieved it..
Who are you to say I dont know what TIS is?
You should dissappear and go live the rest of your life with your wife and honda.
Thanks again r3v even though this site only brings down this car.
Sorry again Ed but this is obsurd

Like I said before, the whole left side of the car was smacked
and repaired by the original owner. Whoever did the bodywork didn't
do a great job, they used lots of plastic which gives the driver's door a wavy look with high and low spots as well as the qtr panel. The left fender never aligned right, I tried to tweak it by loosening the fender bolts but still didn't line up due to the hit.
Rob, I was nothing but cordial to you and you continue to spit in my face.
I gave you fucking toll money, who does that?
YOU rebuilt the car? Who are you kidding? You're a checkbook mechanic and know nothing about rebuilding anything. Did you do any of the work yourself? Highly doubt it and if you say yes, than you're fucking yourself even more because people will be even MORE afraid to touch the car knowing a moron "fixed" it.
Funny you say you rebuilt this e30 and know so much more now but til this day I still recieve e-mails and pm's requesting information on this car, many of them saying, " I know you don't own the car anymore but you'd know better. "
You over r3'vd the motor and snapped some rockers and it took you half a year to slap a head on or pay someone to. So it's better now than when I sold it to you? Nope.
I can reiterate all the things that happened to the car after I sold it you if you like.
Rob, I'd be willing to bet money that people on here would rather see you disappear.Last edited by egk2; 10-27-2007, 02:29 PM.Comment

I think the car looks good to go for the sale. The only thing I dislike are the people giving compliments for him making such a nice example of an E30. It looks exactly now how it does in EGKs signature. So yes, he bought a nice example of an E30. Does seem a bit steep for the body issues, and questionable repairs though, IMO.
