136K, 1990 model large rod motor been in for 7K miles, ALL seals and wear items under hood replaced and new rod bearings installed. No leaks but some weeping despite careful assembly and all new gaskets(thank you Volvo), no smoke, oil usage 1qt(or less) in 3K miles on Rotella T 5w40 syn and MANN filters, boosts as it should. New distributor, and many, many other wear items. Has a moderate case of patented Volvo Piston Slap. Engine mileage should be 115K now per vendor. M46 manual trans is quiet and shift well, OD is lazy, typical o-ring wear. NO rust, at all, no accident damage, typical dings for age, paint still shiny(repaint at some point), everything but AC works(ac intact). Daily driver showing 26mpg avg. Interior decent and typical 740, headliner replaced and *not* falling for a change. All glass good, all lights good including new tail lamps. Updated 92 sunroof installed(early ones break) New Kuhmo ASX tires and alignment, suspension original and showing wear but completely serviceable, same for brakes. IPD roof rack delete plugs but still have rack. This car has the factory blacked out trim, it was marketed in Europe as the "Sport Wagon".
Rear calipers new, drive shaft completely rebuilt, clutch new, radiator new, very long list of maintenance been caught up since I've had it. Drives pretty good, above average overall. Exhaust and a MBC away from being a quick car if one is into that sorta thing. I'm about $3K in the car, have all receipts for parts.
More pics available.
Interested in another E30, it's been awhile.
Located in central N.C. but can travel some for the right car.
Thanks..
