    WTB: E30 in DC/Metro/Baltimore/Maryland

So i'm a college student at UMD-College Park. I wanna purchase an E30 hopefully before the middle of January. I live in Annapolis when not at school.

Ok, what i'm lookin for is an 88-91 325i/is/ix, 2-door or 4-door. I'll even consider a 318 ('91 was the year they made it again, i believe). MUST be a manual, and in good condition, interior and exterior. Garaged and rust-free would be nice, but beggars can't be choosers, especially on a 15+ year old car. Likewise, lower mileage would be nice, but i won't turn anything away just for having higher mileage. Everything with the car should be in good working order obviously.

I can travel in-state, or into NoVa (so nothing too much farther than a 2 hour drive, etc). I'm willing to pay for a prime condition car, and having something close would be even better.

I posted on bimmerforums and e30tech, so I hope I'm not being redundant.

Thanks, hopefully ill see some nice e30's!

I got a Zender apron off of this guy and he had some e30's that he wanted to sell. I can't remember any details about them. All that i remember is that they was some late model and early model e30's. He also had some e36's too.

Yo. Im not too far away from you (NoVa) and Im trying to sell my second E30. I know you said you wanted manual but you also said beggars cant be choosers. My E30 is an 89 325i with 160k on it but since its been all auto miles, theyre easy on the engine. Ive regasketted and cleaned everything on the engine. I have all the manual parts minus the pedal set, master/slave cyl, and drive shaft but theres a junkyard near mt airey that usually has an E30. Ill even help you do the swap.

I lowered the price to $1500 for the car and $1700 for the manual parts and misc goodies.

                  Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

thanks for the replies guys. yoshi, i'm gonna have to pass. I'd like to get a car thats really solid already in pretty good condition, and be able to add to it (IE not wanting to spend time/money on a manual swap). Thanks alot for the offer though.

silversleeper - can you pm me some pics?

*shrugs* the car is pretty good for a 20 year old car. All mounts have been replaced, shocks are replaced. It only has small issues. Well other than the auto tranny. Just let me know if you change your mind.
