    WTB e30 "Vert in Midwest

18 months ago, I bought my baby girl an e30 ‘vert out of Denver that was supposed to be able to drive home and had a clear title. It seems drive home means bring a trailer and drive the tow vehicle home. Clear title means multiple signatures making it FUBAR. Last summer, I picked up a nice 325i for her, but she has decided she really wants the ‘vert for her 16th, which is seven months away.

After that long preamble, I am looking for a six-cylinder e30 convertible. The engine, transmission and interior can be tits up, as long as most of the body is primo. I can replace the clip and interior no sweat, but really don’t want to rescue a bashed quarter, etc. Did I mention that a CLEAR title is paramount?
I’ve got kids and a wife, so I have a budget of $1,000 or less if I have to travel to fetch it. I’ve got some parts if anyone would be interested in a full or partial trade. Right now, I have an M50 long block, lots of e34 and e30 parts including e34 wood trim, e34 seats, e30 rack, e30 318is LSD and for a truly primo car, a very nice set of Recaro seats!

It’s a cash Christmas at my house, so I won’t have “discretionary” funds until the first of the year, but email or post up what you have, what you have seen or heard about. I can travel or arrange to travel up to 500 miles (from Wichita, KS) or so for a good deal.
