See what he is looking to sell it for. If possible some pictures also. If the price is right and rust is absent I could probably convince myself to make the drive.i live in scottsbluff which if you dont know is somewhere round 500 miles away (i used to live in fremont soooo i know what youre dealing with) i found a guy with a fairly clean 87 325is 5 speed here not sure the mileage i know he wants to sell but not sure how badly want i should ask?
And as for the which states count as the midwest, the states are Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Thats what I learned in school so thats what I'm assuming is right.Comment

ok ill go check that out this weekend scottsbluff is a fucking desert sooo im bout 99% the only thing youd ever find was surface rust from a paint chip which i didnt see any of btw.....uh i do remember that the front 2 seats were not bmw but something from another car so you should prolly factor in 2 sport seats for the price but then again omaha has a waaaaaaaaaaaaay better junkyard situation than hereComment

1. Who cares what the "technical" definiton of the midwest is?I'm not the only one who doesn't consider the Midwest to include Nebraska or Kansas. In fact, I used to live in Nebraska before moving to Michigan!
From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_United_States

"Regional definitions vary from source to source. The states shown in dark red are usually included, while all or portions of the striped states may or may not be considered part of present-day western United States."
2. See the bold that discounts your own statement from a few lines before it.

"may or may not be..." i dont know that that means they aren't in the midwest. read furthere... yep it always seems like that but I suppose you have to know where to look. The first couple months I was looking for one I couldn't find any within a 200 mile radius. But after a couple months of getting good at searching I seem to see them around more. Not is mass amounts like the coasts but still more frequent. or maybe I just didn't know what I was doing the first couple month:grin:Comment
