    FS: Twin Turbo e30 m3 - 355rwhp - Standalone - $9,900

    SOLD
    1988 BMW M3
    Laccsilber Mettalic/Black
    192,xxx on body

    Body
The body is in good shape. The paint on the doors, fenders, pillars, and roof is in great condition. The hood, trunk lid, and bumpers should be resprayed. I am including enough PPG paint and clear to spray the mentioned items. There is ABSOLUTELY NO rust on the entire car. ALL of the VIN #'s are matching and present, except for the tag on the hood, which is missing. Although, the front bumper's tag is there, which leads me to believe it was never in a front end collision, and the hood was replaced for different reasons. There are minor dings on the car, but none of them have broken the paint and can easily be fixed. The windshield has a crack in it, but I am inluding a new windshield.

    Interior
The interior is in great shape. The dash is free of cracks, warpage, and fading. The whole interior was bright red when I got the car, so I replaced it with the interior out of a different e30. The seats, door panels, and carpet are all in great shape. They are NOT sport seats though. I had intensions of putting Sparcos in, but I never did.

    Everything works great-
    • Mirrors
    • Windows
    • Locks
    • Sunroof
    • Lights

    Motor/Trans
The motor is an M52B28. It is out of a 1999 328. It had 45k when pulled, and currently has just over 50k. The motor runs very strong. It currently has-
    • Cometic MLS .140 Headgasket
    • ARP Headstuds
    • New Seals/Gaskets
    • Mobile One
    • New Waterpump
    • Safety Wired Oil Pump Nut
    • S50 Radiator
    • S50 Expansion Tank
    • Twin Turbos (Stock MKIV Toyota Supra Turbos - Easily Replaceable)
    • Internal Wastegates - Set to 9.5psi
    • 24x12x3 Front Mount Intercooler
    • Turbo XS Blow Off Valve
    • M50 Manifold
    • 3" Downpipe(s) Back Exhaust
    • 42# Injectors
    • T-Bolt Clamps
    • Braided Steel Power Steering Lines
    • SDS Standalone Fuel Management
    • Cat is Installed
    • Burns Stainless Muffler
    • Clutchmasters Clutch - Good to 650rwhp
    • Short Shift Kit

This is a VERY reliable and fast setup. It always starts the first time and runs as it should. At WOT, the AFR's are constant around 12.5-12.9, and 14.5-15.5 cruising. SDS is very easy to program, use, and understand. I will include a full instruction manual for it as well. There is an LCD programmer for making on the fly adjustments and monitoring the engine temps, voltage, and manifold pressure (boost).
With SDS, you are able to-
    • Adjust Fuel for RPM
    • Adjust Fuel for Manifold Pressure
    • Adjust Timing for RPM
    • Adjust Timing for Manifold Pressure
    • Adjust Fuel for Temperature
    • Run Open or Closed Loop for Better MPG's
    • And a few other functions that are very useful

This exact setup was out of a local e30 m3. It dyno'd 355rwhp @ 10psi and 422rwhp @ 15psi. The best time it (this motor in the other car) ran at the track was a 12.0 @ 116mph. Since the ARP Headstuds and .140 MLS Gasket were installed, the motor has not seen more than 10psi, nor has it been to the track, autocross, or raced.

This setup is VERY fast, but is also reliable enough to be a daily driver. I have only put about 1000 miles on it, and have had no problems. The car gets good gas mileage due to its weight and being able to adjust the mixture for the best cruising economy. It also sounds amazing. The turbos spool quickly. The blow off valve sound great because the turbos 'fight' eachother, so instead of one big 'whooosh', its a bunch of short ones as each turbo vents.

    Wheels/Tires/Suspension
Wheels are OEM e36 M3 DSII's - In perfect shape
    17x7.5" and 17x8.5"
Tires are Fuzion ZRI with 90% Treadlife
    Front - 215/40/17
    Rear - 235/40/17

*Also inluded are the OEM Basketweaves

    Brake Pads - 80% Useable
Springs - Ireland Engineering Stage 3 Springs
Shocks - Don't know the brand and they should be replaced

    Overall
I wish I could keep the car, but financially I can't. I love the looks, speed, and comfort of it. There are a few things that should be done to the car-
    • Paint (previoulsly mentioned)
    • Differential (wrong gearing- 3.23 or 2.93 would be ideal)
    • Windshield Installed
    • Stereo Needed (speakers/wiring are there, just no headunit)
    • Wideband Neede (not included with sale)

I can ship the car if needed. I have sold numerous cars here, all with good results. Below are pictures of the car when I got it, some of the swap, and pictures from last night.

Please email me @ RILEYTROY@GMAIL.COM for inquiries. They go straight to my phone so I'll respond quickly. I probably won't check this thread or PM's often.

Here is the car before I picked it up-

    S14 Coming Out

    Engine Bay Prepped for M52

    Intercooler Mounting

Engine with Headstuds Ready for .140 HG

    M52 In

    Piping Test Fit

Now here are some pictures from last night-

            Am I missing something?

Seems like a really low asking price for an M3 with a M5x twin turbo setup.

            Good luck with the sale.

Wow, lets take into perspective just how good of a deal this really is...
For almost 1k less you can get a completely stripped M3 that offers NOTHING compared to this, or for almost 6k more you can get a stock M3 that still doesnt have much on this car. Ya Ya for all the purists and what not, but shit what a great price for an amazing car.
                    Good luck, amazing car.
