    1991 BMW 318IS, my neighbor's ride, $3600 obo

this is my neighbor's ride and he asked me to do him a favor and list his car. he's got approx. 128k original miles on the car. i test drove this ride and it's hella clean, but four cylinders is just too small for me that's why i didn't buy it from him and it's a 2 door; i like 4 doors. anyways, here are some photos:

sorry, he's actually asking for $3000 obo and the car is located in West LA:

Why does it have bcaps on it? Looks pretty decent, otherwise. Does he have it up on CL too?

LOL, sounds like a plan. I'd buy a 318 if the right one came along, but I dunno about a random one.

That's a long way to go to check it out though. You might want to ask E30Yrsold (Jon) to check it out for you if you're serious. He can do some pre-emptive walkarounds, pictures and whatnot before you drive up there. I know he's done it before for a few bucks.

nasty "dtm" tips crooked and looking like they are about to fall off, broken rubstrip in rear left corner, and the BBS's are missing. seat is slid all the way forward..female driver? any other damage to the rear besides what is barely seen in the pictures?

the reason why my neighbour wants me to take care of selling his car is because:

                        1. He doesn't know anything about e30s, he just maintains the car. I found out that he only drives his e30 to work and back which is from west la to hollywood and back. He travels the world from time to time and when he's out of the country, his car sits in front of the apt complex for months, so his friends moves his car every street cleaning. He was gone for at least three months in the last 10 months.

                        2. He's a computer programmer, so he's hella busy, that's why he asked me to take care of this sale for him in addition to my passion with e30s. He doesn't have time to talk to any of y'all, so he request for his number not to be given away.

Here are some updated information on the e30:
                        - owner since 2004
                        - has a muffler
                        - clutch disc replaced not too long ago (only major repair since he bought it in 2004)
                        - 1 yr old tires
                        - original paint with minor dings
                        - major tune up was done 8 months ago
                        - oil changes every 3k miles
                        - CLEAN TITLE
                        - will pass smog
                        - tags are good 'til Jan. 2009
                        Problems with the car:

                        - driver seat is ripped a little bit
                        - no stereo, but speakers are still in the car
                        - glove compartment needs a handle
                        - tiny slit on dash board
                        - shifter bushings may need to be replaced

that's pretty much it. i would get this car if it had a n M20, but it's fast enough and saves gas. i think it has a 4.10 in the rear because i was able to pop it out quick and drift it slideways at high rpm... the guibo feels good along with the drive shaft support which is the reason why i drifted the car to test the guibo and drive shaft support. again, i'd buy this car if it has an m20, but it doesn't, thus, this listing...

NOTE: I WILL TRY TO TAKE MORE PICTURES TONIGHT, ANY REQUEST OF ANY ANGLES Y'ALL WOULD LIKE TO SEE OTHER THAN THE REAR SEAT?

You drifted a car a guy entrusted you to sell for him? There are lots of ways to check a CSB/guibo without a high-rpm burnout...

LOL. i did it with him in the car

i didn't want to go under the car and feel the driveshaft. what other ways would have you checked?, i would like to know so i don't have to keep burning out or drifting the car just to check the guibo and driveshaft support... the only reason why i do that is because if i feel the driveshaft hits the body of the car, then that means i needs to replace the driveshaft support and i might as well replace the guibo, hehe, :D

                            please teach me another way

get under the car and look at it you lazy SOB. if some1 came to test drive my car and drifted it out of my drive way, i would pull the key out of the ignition, pull the ebrake, and prompty drag their ass out of my car.
