I thought I would post this here before going on craigslist. I bought this last fall, but have decided to go in a different direction for project cars.
1986 325 2 door
Black exterior (factory color was white), black leather interior
168,000 miles
Manual transmission
Sports seats (not in great shape though)
M-tech steering wheel
Sunroof
Previous owner told me it had a chip- haven’t confirmed it though
I’ll include an IS trunk lip I got at the pick’n’pull
Zender side skirts (black paint is flaking away and previous green paint is showing through, don’t think they’re properly fastened either).
I think the front lower spoiler is the ES version- it’s not attached and is missing the mounting tabs.

The bad:
The car was in pretty poor & dissasembled shape when I got it. It starts and idles, but I haven’t tried anything beyond that. Paint is poor. Looks like it was in a previous accident and has some half-assed attempt at a repair to the frame behind the bumper. Hood is dark grey- not black like the rest of the car, passenger front fender looks out of position as a result of the accident, trunk lid looks like someone used a screwdriver to force their way in. There are some electrical issues- instrument cluster does not work at all, none of the interior components are working either- I haven’t done any investigation as to why. Differential cover is broken at the attachment point.
I’m not interested in parting it out- just looking to get $375 for it so I can make room in the garage for the next non-operational vehicle. I am in Rockford, MI- just north of Grand Rapids. Email me for pics at jonah8888…at….msn.com.
