Since I am not the one who had it federalized I do not know what was changed on the car except for the rear bumper. The car still has the original front euro bumper and valence as well as the euro grills. Since the instruments are in english I assume they were changed. The odometer reads 103,286 miles. The car has alpina springs(33-53-104). I was told by the previous owner that an alpina cam was also installed, but have not verified this.
The seats are fair - the cloth on the seat bottoms is frayed and the rear is dry with a small tear.
The dash is un-cracked. The sport steering wheel is excellant. Carpet is good for the age.
The trunk is in good shape but is missing center carpet peice. Tool kit is missing some tools.Stereo is after market and the gas gauge is sticky sometimes.
The engine compartment can use some cleaning up. New alternator installed. Wiring and wash tank for headlamp washers are still present. The throttle was upgraded to 325 with a neuspeed adapter. There is a quarter size rust spot near the battery tray. There is a slight oil leak. It needs a new oil pan gasket and drain plug. The release on the clutch is sticky.
The air cleaner holding bracket is partially broken. Don't know if the AC works but it has it but no belt.
On the exterior the car will need some body work to bring it back to it’s former glory. I was told by the previous owner that it was hit in a parking lot.
Front passenger fender has a small dent. Rear passenger side has corner ding under the brake light. Driver rear quarter has a dent. Both rear wheel fender arches have rust areas at the bottoms. The drain plug in the rear floor board on the driver side has been pushed through and should be replaced with a piece of riveted sheet metal. The under carriage is very nice. The trunk is clean. Brake lines have just minor surface rust. Brakes work great.
New shocks rear installed the front are not yet.
Rear us bumper has been recently tucked.
All in all this E30 is rare and has tremendous potential. It is very very fast. It handles tight and is very light. I am only selling this car because I have to move and cannot take it with
me. To be honest I only want this car to go to someone who knows what it is and will treat it with the respect it deserves.
I will try to answer any questions to the best of my ability. Those who know alot more about this car are encouraged feed me more information.
I’d like $4000, but realistic offers are welcome.
I am only offering this car here before Ebay for a few days so if you want it speak up. Yea I know I'm on the wrong coast.LOL
