    WTB- E30 for under $1000?

A decent condition E30 for under $1000? Would love a 6 cylinder, not into fours. Near seattle?....craigslist just isn't cutting it. Thanks!!

You should be able to find an eta on CL for a grand no problem. I got mine for $800 in good shape, extensive maintenance records, nothing major broken, after looking at a few others that were in various states of repair. I looked at an es that just needed a csb or perhaps a driveshaft but the guy had it sold before I got there.

Gotta keep looking. Its not really the time to get these cars though. They are a lot cheaper after racing season. You should find an ETA as mentioned pretty easy. Best bet would probably be getting one with a blown engine or one with a messed up auto tranny for a few hundred dollars and fixing it yourself. I see clean cars on craigslist all the time with blown headgaskets etc. The ones that runs gets pretty beat up.
