This car started racing as a Neuspeed GTI Cup car in the late 90's.
Around 2000 it had a complete rebuild to scca itb rules, and raced in the mid atlantic road racing series.
I purchased the car around 04. Here are the current specs,

* Momo model 78 suede steering wheel
Just took it out from winter storage yesterday.
includes a second set of snowflakes with Yoko avs int. tires, brake pads, and some other things I know I'm missing. :laugh:
I used the car at two autocrosses, and about 5 track days at road america and blackhawk farms. Very easy car to drive fast. I'll miss it.
